Molly Syamali Chatterjee's Online Review Report Card

Clearly, the one positive comment here is a relative of the doctor or the doctor herself. Or maybe they were paid. Either way, it will be obvious to you that her practice is suffering - you should think about why that is when you have to wait to get in with most other (really great) OB-GYNs. She is extremely rude and talks down to you. I may not be a medical professional but I am a leader in my own field and did not appreciate that - especially since this was my first pregnancy. Luckily my brother is a surgeon in California and after I told him the things she told me, he told me to switch docs right away and I did. Please listen to the other reviewers here - we are not kidding. This Dr. is ridiculous.

WOW. Molly Chatterjee is the worst! She delivered two of my children seven years ago. The worst experience of my life to date! While I was pregnant, she kept telling me I had bacterial infections and I was a drug, called microbid, for my pregnant. Then she induced me (for no reason) and broke my water. For 9 1/2 hours I had dry labor pains, and I wasn't even dilating a 1 cm, my baby became stressed, so I has a C-section. I requested a bell-circumcision and she decided to **** my sons penis, 7 years later he looks down and ask if someone burned his penis. After that, I didn't want any more children, so she decided to put me on the NOVARING, which was experimental at the time, and well I got pregnant again, about 5 months later. She induced me again, by giving me an amnio (why?)and I was told I was in labor but I had no pain! SHE IS NO GOOD! I truly resent her. I am still feeling the effects of her care 7 years later. PLEASE STAY AWAY from Chatterjee!! GO TO VANDY!

I have no idea where all other negative comments are comming from. Dr. Chatterjee was my doctor during a high risk pregnancy. At all times she treated me respectfully and friendly and always maintained a high degree of professionalism. She discussed with me all my questions and concerns to my full satisfaction. During office visits, she always gave the impression that I am the only patient who matters. For problems during off-hours she was always available on the phone for help and advice. During this high-risk pregnancy she anticipated and eliminated every possible and potentially dangerous problem for me and my babies. I always appreciate Dr. Chatterjees openness because I prefer to be informed and prepared rather than being treated with kid gloves.

Please take heed and read the other people's comments. I wish I had done so before going to her. She cannot do follow-ups and sends you out to another doctor. She should lose her license. Very unprofessional. All she cares about is whether or not you'll pay her. The entire time I felt like she was talking down to me. I mean, I may be young but I'm married to a doctor too - so I have some idea of how things should be handled - I help run my husband's practice. Please, go to a REAL doctor and not this crazy lady.

RUN - DO NOT GO THIS DOCTOR!!! She ran several tests that were not asked for or needed, now I have to pay for them. She left the exam room door open while examining me! There were no other patients in the office the entire 1 1/2 that I was there, where are all her patients?! There was no other staff there, just she and I. Entire experience was strange from the beginning. wanted me to pay her money for tests that I hadn't had yet and that hadn't been run through my insurance company. Patient beware.

She has a serious lack of social skills. And she is not compassionate at all. She is not a physician I would reccommend if you have a choice.

She is very rude and domineering. She is also not a fan of second opinions. She also can't do follow-ups. She'll end up sending you to another gynecologist to do a follow-up. In my 30 years of going to a gyn annually, this was a terrible experience and I just moved to nashville, so i'm sorry i didn't know any better.

At the beginning the visits were really nice. However, she was not helpful at all in educating me about my preeclampsia, and did not make it known to me that I really had a full-blown serious condition, she made it seem like I was border-line and it was not a big deal. I was not supported in any way to have a vaginal delivery and she jumped right to a c-section the moment she didn't think things were going exactly like she wanted even though I made it VERY clear to her that I wanted to avoid a c-section as much as possible. She was cruel to me before and during the c-section for which I was not mentally or emotionally prepared. The surgery itself was terrible and recovery took longer than normal. I was required to purchase my own staple remover at a medical supply store because she did not keep them in stock! My ability to have a safe vaginal birth is now severely compromised because of this doctor. Please do not go to her.
