Northcrest Medical Center's Online Review Report Card

I have been a client of Steve Johnson’s for over 20 years. For the first time i can recall i called in with an emergency situation regarding my health. I was informed that Dr. Steve was not available and no other options or doctors were suggested. I asked could anyone else in the practice see me and an appt. with Dr Shannon McDonald was set up for 2 days later. Although thankful that I was able to get in and see her and a much needed antibiotic was prescribed the manner in which I was treated by Dr McDonald was baffling and off putting. My face was very swollen .. and I had blisters on the inside of my mouth. She did not want to get close to me or touch my face in any way. I was instructed to take my mask off briefly and to hold my breath so that she could look closer. But the blisters would have been impossible for her to see at the distance she kept. She was also cold and unempathetic. I have had both Covid shots many months ago. The only reason I can attribute to the distance is that I have not had a booster which she asked. And I had been exposed to Covid 3 weeks prior but had no symptoms. Does not explain it but the only rationalization I can make for her cold and distant manner.

Very reasonable wait time. Staff was great and Dr. Johnson is fantastic. I highly recommend him.

Didn’t bother to tell me that my insurance changed and I was now out of network. I got a denied claim in the mail and the full nondiscounted bill from them owing the 202 dollars for an annual physical that should have been free. Now their error costs me money I do not have. Won’t be going back for the obvious reason that they are no longer in network would have been super helpful to know that BEFORE my appointment.

This team is wonderful

Dr. Johnson is a caring and compassionate physician. He listens to you. His visits take time which is something unheard of in this day and age. He is thorough. Everyone in his office is helpful caring and efficient. They run on time as well. I couldn’t be happier with this practice.

I moved to Nashville 7 years ago. Each of my sisters go to different doctors at Brentwood Family Medicine. When I called to schedule an appointment I typically ask the receptionist if it was herhim choosing a doctor who would heshe choose? The response was Dr. Ducey and I have NEVER regretted that decision. He is the best family doctor I have ever encountered. His nurses are so compassionate thank you Carolina. Dr. Ducey is extremely knowledgeable regarding my laundry list of previous diagnoses. He has referred me to some of the best specialist. God brought Dr. Ducey to me and I couldn’t be more appreciative.

Brentwood East Family Medicine practice made establishing care with a new PCP a very pleasant experience. The staff were all kind and efficient and Dr. Hartman was very professional and thorough.

Dr Gordham is amazing I moved here from Utah and even though i have just needed a refill on my medications she took her time to get to know me and understand why i am taking what i am and on the dose that i take. She seemed to be really sincere and caring about her patients when i was expecting this visit to be like most all other doctors visits i have been to when they ask you what your on then refill your meds and send you out the door. The wait period is longer than i like but overall was a great experience when considering it was a doctors visit not a day at disneyland I give her 5 stars
