An update over 5 years later. My son had to have more than half of his left lung removed and will suffer for a lifetime with ongoing medical problems. I understand things get missed we are all human. But the way this doctor and his staff treated us was horrible. Refused to even call me back when I had questions on how to proceed with treatment. They had absolutely not an ounce of caring or compassion. To this day I'm dumbfounded on how this doctor can be treating patients. I am not the only one. I've seen other reviews with similar experiences. If your considering this doctor I would run not walk away from this practice.
I had been seeing Dr. Lee for several years, but have decided to move to another doctor. I am grateful for the good care he gave me in those years, but over the past year or two I've had series of events that have made me decide to leave. The first is a small thing, but became indicative of other issues I would come to have. I had 3 separate issues I needed addressed. Over the phone staff and I were both on the same page about needing all those things addressed, and they set an appointment for me. When I arrived, they only had one issue on record to be taking care of. The told me to come back another time. I had moved my schedule a lot to make the visit happen, and I couldn't easily come back again soon. They helped me address 2 out of 3, but said they didn't have time to address them all in one meeting, even though when I made the appointment it was clear that all three would be addressed. Next, he recommends BEMER, speaking to it the same way someone would speak about a cure-all - that it can fix so many different issues. As I read summaries of the studies available, many of them showed no better than placebos, and the few that did were minor and not long lasting. I began to worry that the care provided here was not based on evidence. Finally, as I sat with the doctor, when he saw I was wearing mask, he immediately started talking about cancel culture, and I got a political rant about the governor's handling of the situation. I came here for care, not politics.
Dr Lee has been my PCP for the past 8 years. I feel very safe with Dr Lee. He is a wonderful listener and together, we work on my health and well-being! I'm feel blessed to have him as my primary care doc!
I couldn't be more grateful for Dr Lee and his staff. They are on it. A friend referred me to his office after being sick for 10 months and in my bed 80-90% of the time. I had been with my dr for 25 years and didn't take the change lightly. He and his staff have been such a gift to me and my health. The most important thing he did was truly listen to me. Listen to all I've been going through and acted. Running blood tests, getting referrals done promptly. Taking seriously all I've been going through. He is highly intelligent and thoughtful. His staff cares. I don't feel like I'm in a machine or on a conveyer belt. I feel like I'm cared for as an individual and human being. I am so grateful!
I greatly appreciate Dr. Lee at San Tan Family Medicine. I can usually see the doc in a day or two if something comes out of the blue, and the girls at the office are great. I have been seeing him 2 years. Dr. Lee is an intent listener, he will quickly asses symptoms and if you can't be treated immediately at the office, get you to a great referral fast. My referral's have been top notch. Dr. Duane Heinrichs Cardiologist at Tri-City. Dr. Albert Newman, Dr. Marci Leeds and Dr. Albert Amini, at AZ Premiere Surgeons. And Dr. Anoop Sharma over at ASUI. WOW talk about an A team. Thanks for the help Dr. Lee!! -
I started seeing Dr. Lee once I moved to Arizona. I chose him out of necessity because I needed it and he had immediate appointments. It's very easy to schedule an appointment with him. I've thought of him as an okay doctor as I went to him when I was sick and he would put me on antibiotics. I've always been reasonably healthy so I was fine with him. Every time I saw him he did try to sell me on his allergy treatment which was always irritating.Today I've decided to stop going to him as a patient. I was doing an activity and fell down and heard a few cracks in my ribs. I've been in a ton of pain and I want to get X-rays done. I called his office to get me a referral somewhere but he refused to and wanted to see me first. His excuse on why he needed to see me was because he hasn't seen me since October 2016. That was just 3 months ago?! I have no interest in paying him a fee just to tell me what I already know. When I talked to them I even threatened that I'd no longer be a patient if they couldn't get me this referral. Dr. Lee didn't seem to care. This was seriously disappointing as my wife was going to join his practice as well. They have lost a good customer and a new customer all because he wanted to collect an office visit fee. Honestly - do some research and find a doctor who cares more about his practice then his wallet.
I've been with Dr Lee ever since moving to AZ in 2006. He is caring, compassionate and easy to talk to. He is very detailed in his assessment and excellent at diagnosis and treatment. If your condition is out of his sphere, he has great recommendation of other physician, who are just as qualified and professional as Dr. Lee. His front office staff is very professional and inviting. They make every effort to make you feel welcomed. I'm very grateful for Dr. Lee and his staff!
Horrible experience with Dr.Ronald Lee. Rude, lazy , very unhelpful all he wants is to get rid of you as soon as he can plus charge you! He did not want to answer any of my questions he just sat there as a piece of furniture and I had to drag all the answers out of him. I had on of the worst experiences with this Doctor ( if you can call him that). I would never recommed him to anybody.
This doctor is a really good doctor. He takes his time and answers all questions. He explains very well and clears up doubts or concerns the patient has. Overall has patience to work with the patient to get back on the road to a healthier lifestyle. I wish there were more doctors like him. Good doctors are hard to find but this is one doctor I recommend to anyone in search of a urologist.
Very considerate and thorough. Answer patient's concern.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
