Shireen Parveen's Online Review Report Card

I didn't have a great experience with Dr. Parveen. I went to her to have my IUD removed in order to get pregnant. She recommended that I come off certain medications that could be dangerous in pregnancy before she removed the IUD. When I called back, she refused to take the IUD out as I had stopped taking my antidepressants. She said I could become mentally unstable because of this and more so if I became pregnant. I was so shocked and angry that someone could make this decision over my body and having an IUD removed. I felt this was my decision to make regarding my mental health and decision to become pregnant. It was a terrible, powerless feeling as if my voice and decisions were not honoured. I have heard she has a poor bedside manner and is very blunt. She was teaching a student during the time of my appointment.

Best Gynecologist that I've ever gone to. I trust her. She's absolutely lovely to deal with and is extremely observant and ACTUALLY READS your file before seeing you. Tests, scans, bloodwork, everything. She found an unrelated issue that several doctors completely missed, despite being told symptoms. If you want a Doctor who actually cares, is extremely thorough, and doesn't ever do 3 minute appts. Highly recommend

Felt like she never listened to me, she was quick to judge without looking at the facts and made some very hurtful comments that were not constructive in an already stressful, emergency situation.

I was referred to Dr Parveen recently and she was very professional, kind and caring to me. She’s straight forward and gets to the point of the matter. She did an exam and seemed very knowledge about why I was there. I liked her a lot and was thankful I was referred to her. Secretary is excellent as well. Very efficient and friendly! Aug 25, 21

I am not sure this Doctor should be rated highly. I do not appreciate that every time that I have been to her office, she is teaching someone and does not seem to be interested in my concerns as much as she is in instructing. I tell her that I was told by my last doc ( Dr. Dani) that I should get my Fibroids and ovaries checked and to be checked every so often for possible cysts. So when I tell her she just tells me that I do not have them without even checking. She says she is going to do an Ultra sound to check on my ovaries that she said are shrunk, but I have not had any call about that at all and it has been a few months. I feel used instead of being treated properly as she shows very little interest in my concerns. The most I can get out of her is a Pap test even when I tell her about aches and pains in my ovary. At the end of every session she tells me that she does not need to see me again. I have to get a new referal every time I need to see her. WHY? I believe she does not want me to be her patient at all and I do not understand why at all. I am not difficult in any way. I will be seeking another who actually wants to be my doc. I think she should be ashamed of herself. She seems to think she does not need to look after woman who are not sexually active because my daughter has the same complaint. She even told my daughter because she is not active she does not need to see her. What kind of OBGYN is she. How did we end up with someone so uncaring. Women still have problems even when they are not active. I hope you all look out for this kind of attitude. Tell her you are not sexually active and see the difference in the way she treats you. Very worried because how can I rate someone as to knowledge or abilities when this doc is not doing the job.

This is my second pregnancy with Dr Parveen and would never want a different OB she is amazing

Parveen has followed me for two child births, she was very kind and knowledgeable. Very reassuring, and helpful, she even went out of her way on my first child to get a me a private room in the hospital because she felt bad that the birth didn’t go as I had planned. I will always recommend!

Thorough, passionate and uses advanced methods. Highly recommended.

Had her during my pregnancy with our son, and have her again now, she is absolutely amazing. Very thorough and knowledgeable and actually listens to your concerns. Her bedside manner is second to none! She is also quick to get you in or push for more tests if needed, she doesn't mess around when it comes to the well being of her patients. Her staff is also excellent and I love how efficiently her office runs!

Makes a diagnosis without knowing facts.Guesses.Prescribes meds that arent neccessary.Had other doctors tell me not to listen to her.
