I have been a patient of Dr Gupta for many years but today I came to realize the type of human being she is. She’s not only a doctor , she’s also a mental health specialist. At least that’s how it felt for me. So thankful to have her in my life!

Dr. Gupta has a teachers heart. She is willing to explain and work with you to accomplish your best health possible. In a day where many just push a pill and “next”, she is a breath of fresh air.

She asked me how old I was when I had the chicken pox vaccine and I said I don't know I was an adult and got it because I never had it and she goes "sometimes you have it and don't realize it's chicken pox." My parents were doctors!!! They know chicken pox! I never had it!!!

Dr. Gupta is thorough, compassionate, timely, attentive, explains medical conditions in detail and answers any questions or concerns as required. I have been a patient for over 10 years and have confidence in her decision making not to mention her credentials are stellar. Dr. Gupta's earned an Electrical Engineering degree from the the University of Michigan prior to entering Medical School. I would highly recommend Dr. Gupta as well as the staff as they are consistently friendly, knowledgable, well trained and has always returned my calls in a timely manner. When I detected a lump in my breast, Dr. Gupta immediately sent me to the Nashville Breast Center and followed up with my progress along the way. I am thankful that Dr. Sonal Gupta is my primary care physician. Thank you Dr. Gupta and staff for your consistent care & kindness.

The office staff is TERRIBLE!! They have zero compassion and just want an easy work load. If you like feeling like everyone is in a hurry with no time to truly LISTEN, the doctor included, then this is the practice for you. I'm outta here!!!

I have never written a review but felt it important to warn others to not waste your time dealing with this doctor. She has her own agenda when it comes to her “patients”. She is a lecturer and not a listener and highly unprofessional by calling her no show patients, “punks”. She is more interested in sending you to other doctors within their organization who actually don’t understand why you were even sent there and when you try to follow up to discuss these matters with her, she only wants more bloodwork. Highly frustrating for a mother of 3 who has to find babysitters for all of these appointments that were never even needed.

In this day it seems a rarity to have someone who knows me and feels like "my doctor." I've read the other reviews...I can see how she might come across to some as hurried or talkative, but in my experience she has always put her mind and energy towards thoroughly solving any problem of mine she can, referring me to specialists when needed, but then still communicating to me via email regarding their findings. When I hear about my husband's experiences with his doctor and their office, I'm always telling him he should come here instead. I have an actual relationship with my doctor and feel very respected by her as if she is my partner in managing my health. Physically as well as mentally and emotionally. Can't recommend her highly enough!

Dr. Gupta treats you like one of her own family members. She truly listens during the visit. She is kind, caring and wants the best for her patients.

Dr.Gupta is the best doctor I have ever had. She is very caring and professional. She is a 5 star doctor.

I trust Dr Gupta as though she were family. I have poured my heart out to her and she has made me feel so comfortable and has helped me through some very difficult times. I frequently recommend her to family and friends. She is one in a million!
