Sweet Truth Dental's Online Review Report Card

I called to schedule an appointment around late April/early May, and the front desk told me my insurance was in network. We booked an appointment for late June. I checked my insurance just to verify a few weeks prior, and it turns out my insurance is actually NOT in network. When I had called, I was very very specific about my insurance plan and was told it was in network. When I called about this error, no apology was made for the mistake. I was told their insurance specialist would give me a call with the price using my out of network benefits. I never received a call, so I cancelled the appointment. At best, their front office staff are incompetent. At worst, this is sleazy and slightly predatory. Who would have paid the cost from the mistake made on their end? I guarantee the cost would have been put off on me. No thanks.

When I moved to Nashville three years ago, I knew I had to find a dentist. I was moving toward a more holistic approach to all health and healthcare. Dr. Poole and Sweet Truth were the hands-down recommendations I received. I came needing a lot of work due to an extensive hospital stay. Dr. Poole has walked with me every step of the way, and I am so thankful for her care and wisdom. I can honestly say every person I have encountered has been excellent and helpful.

This is the cutest dental office and I appreciate them getting me in quickly. We did call to ask about pricing and after getting service done the final price was higher than we were quoted which we did not appreciate.

This is truly holistic dental care. The staff was highly knowledgeable and made me feel welcome at every point in my first visit. Dr. Allen addressed every question and concern I had about my oral care and created a care plan that I understand and can get behind. My hygienist took the time to get to know me and educated me on best practices for taking care of my teeth. I'm excited to keep working with this team!

The Best Dental Experience ever! Especially when you have anxiety visiting the dentist! Ha! Jackie the hygienist was the best hygienist I have ever had! She was so patient and kind with me! I can’t thank her enough! Dr Poole was so knowledgeable and lovely as well! It was my first time seeing her and she gave me a thorough exam and a Great plan to keep my oral health at its Best! Thank you to everyone there! Madison , Valerie and the Office Manager all were wonderful as well! Thank you!

Dr. Poole is kind, clear, and warm! Jackie is also the best hygienist I’ve ever had! She remembers the details, cleans wonderfully, and makes me feel welcome every time. Also the new East Nashville space is GORGEOUS.

Been wanting to go to a holistic dentist for awhile and sweet truth dental blew my expectations out of the water! Tara was amazing and took the time to learn about me and my holistic health journey so she could better educate me on how my oral health plays into full body health. They have state of the art technology that was really cool to see in action. I learned more about my oral health in these 90 minutes than the 30+ years I spent going to a conventional dentist. Highly recommend people give them a try!

I drive almost an hour so I can have my dentistry needs taken care of by holistically minded professionals. Jackie is by far, one of the best hygienists I’ve had in my 50+ years.she is kind, knowledgeable and has that gentleness that unfortunately some hygienists just don’t have. IYKYK. The office is beautiful, orderly, and they keep on schedule.

I have been looking for a holistic dentist that would help me to kick the fluoride habit and get the healthiest teeth I can get. The staff were really kind, and the dentist was extremely helpful and helping me understand my dental condition and what I can do to improve it. The facility is extremely clean, lots of extras, an overall wonderful experience. They’re opening up a Nashville branch and this will make them even more accessible. I highly recommend getting your dental work done here.
