Takes to long to get back with Clients. Is very rude and takes way too long to order labs.

Was a patient back when and last time I saw him was 2013. No complaints from me.....til now.......I had lost my insurance, job, etc. in 2013. Now that I'm retired, I have Medicare A/B and ChampVA........tried to get an appt. to get back in with him and was told he did not accept them. So now I've got to find a Dr. that does. What a shame.......

I agree with the other user regarding pills. Prescribes opioids like candy. Staff of HMG is horrible regarding follow up calls, then when you complain, dismisses you like a rock. Had an achilles tendontis in left heel, No X-Rays , would not even hardly look at it .

He is the by the far the best doctor I have ever seen. I began seeing him while I was pregnant, and while it was a struggle to get in, it was a great decision. He listened to all my concerns, was very helpful, and answered all my questions. He is not my daughters pediatrician and my primary care doctor. While I swear by him and recommend him to others, I want to point out his staff at the front reception seems to be very rude and cold most of the time. If I want to schedule an appointment, it's never easy and they act as if it's the worst thing I could want to do. They never smile or act happy to be there. I still go there, because Dr. Mccormick is the best and I couldn't imagine not seeing him.

He listens and tries to help with concerns.

I find it interesting that he’s accepting new patients when he seems to be toooo busy to take care of the patients he has. Reason being for us finding another primary doctor. Not to mention when you need to call their office for anything you have to make multiple calls, the receptionist hung up the phone on me and I was trying to get my dad’s prescription that they failed to call the pharmacy for the 3rd time!! I could go on and on about him and his staff the “staff” has done very little to help they give more excuses as why things don’t get done instead of trying to help. They aren’t the only place to go to see a dr as they seem to think, we went elsewhere where we aren’t treated so rudely. I would not recommend this particular office to anyone for any kind of care that’s needed.

Compassionate , professional , and a touch of humor as a physician. Cares about patient well- being , and a down to earth doctor.

He is my elderly dad’s doctor. He has been a great doctor.

Pushes pills without desire for finding the cause.

Dr.Mccormick is an exceptional physician. I had complications from my gallbladder that required it to be removed. I had it removed at a hospital that he is not affiliated with and he still called daily to check on me. He truly goes above and beyond to care for his patients. His nurse is also outstanding.
