Arthur Adams's Online Review Report Card

Dr Adams delivered me as a baby many moons ago, and he has been my doctor ever since it was necessary for me to go for OB appts. He’s kind and professional, and his staff is wonderful.

I've been a patient with Dr Adams since I was 15 years old. I'm now 41. Love the staff and very professional.

No way, unless you want to have irreversible damage done to your body by him or his wife.

I often waited 2 hours in an empty waiting room, then was seen for 10 minutes, once with an "Oh, by the way, your baby has a club foot on the right side. You know that, right?" I actually DID NOT. That is NOT how you break such terrifying news to an expectant mother, then she blamed a medication I was taking when it was actually genetic. Too late! The whole office already heard my unborn child had club foot due to a medication instead of the real reason: genetics on the father's side! My doctor was Dr Adams, then suddenly it was Deena. I also find it incredibly unprofessional to show up at work in an extremely revealing TIGHT cocktail dress with 4+ inch stilettos in three layers of makeup acting as though she was called in from clubbing with her over 50's group and didn't have time to change. I was forced to sign an agreement not to "break my appointment" again, or if be terminated as a patient when I was 15 minutes late once, then refused to be seen the next time I ran late. No one reprimanded THEM when I was forced to wait 2 hours in an empty waiting room, 20 more minutes in a room, then under 10 min with her. VERY distasteful and unprofessional. Plus, he didn't even deliver my child anyway! He went away the weekend of my due date! My doctor with my first child remained in town during my due date....and DELIVERED my child!

Pushy wife, (dee) says she only handles non-complicated cases. Phony video...That's because she is the one who will make your case complicated. She brags that she is so good...Good luck, I agree with only the strong survive this office! Dr. Adams advertises to do operations that he cannot perform correctly. So sad place...

There is no fear like finding out you are pregnant after just losing a baby mid term. In my panic I searched high and low for a GREAT doctor. Dr. Arthur Adams was recommended to me twice by my insurance and by a geneticist. Dr. Adams was so comforting, he listened, and accepted my fears. He and his wife Dee ( a midwife and APRN) took me carefully and confidently through my next two pregnancies. I have switched insurance and am now thinking I am going to private pay to have this team help me through treatment for endometriosis. Because I was so happy with them, my mother began seeing them after unsuccessfully trying to manage hormone replacement therapy post hysterectomy. Dr. Adams educated her and found a perfect balance for her. She felt ten years younger and had her mental stability back.

What can I say about this place except I just keep getting pregnant so I can see my DEENA.I can recall with my first child I was soooo nervous and pretty much in denial but even in my mid twenties, Deena, Auther and all the MA's and MOS's made my experience worth every second. You would think of an OB/GYN office to be looking somewhat as blank walls and cold, but the overall appearance makes you appreciate what Athena Medical is all about. It is warm and caring and you feel that in each room you enter. Yes, at first the initial waiting is a bit much because she is so popular, but that is to be expected. The overall experience was absolutely the most memorable and SHE takes her time to explain anything and you will have no concerns once you leave. If she is not available at one appointment, then Auther usually is unless of course they are out delivering babies which can not be helped. Anyway, Deena has always been part of my birthing plans and will remain in my children's baby books as well as up on her wall in the office. She likes to show all the beauty she brings into this world. The staff always remembers you as well.

if i could give NEGATIVE stars i would. two of the worst physicians i've ever been to in my life. and the staff as everyone else said is INCREDIBLY RUDE! DEE is completely unprofessional. she is loud and cussed and every single one of my visits. it took hours to be seen by her. one time she left and arthur had to see me! they pushed me getting induced. they even asked me months before i was even due if i wanted to be induced once came my due date. they tried to get me in to be induced a week before i was due. I HAD NO MEDICAL problems with my pregnancy what so ever so WHY did i have to be induce? first time mom here and i didnt know of the precautions this would cost me. day i was being induced dee never showed up to the hospital at all. arthur did but still wasnt good enough for me. ARENT midwives supposed to be all about natural birth? well she wasnt. they just wanted my baby due on there schedule. BECAUSE of them my BABY GIRL DIED on my due date do to a drug they gave me to induce me, called CYTOTEC! after my daughter died i did so much research on this drug and its not even approved by the fda for INDUCING labors. shoot on the bottle i even shows a pregnant woman and a slash across it. you are not supposed to use this on pregnant woman. this drug is used for ULCERS and to even ABORT a baby. about 4 months after my daughter passed i created a facebook page. one day i was at the gas station and this lady was sitting in her car when i went into the gas station she was in scrubs and looked incredibly familiar and when i came out of the gas station she was still sitting there but this time yelled to the guy sitting next to her so i was able to hear and said " thats the bitch that thinks she know shit about cytotec" and sped off. i looked up athena medical center on facebook and sure as crap that lady was one of the MAs there. so rude and has no sympathy for what happened to my daughter. i wish everyday i would of changed doctors the moment i felt uncomfortable but i felt stuck because i was on medical. check out my page i made in my daughters memory <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fmakayahlynnsnelling&amp;s=df1162d9d07356b2dcf39c90beb875c80934d778a717e814845b208204f4ce7f" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">facebook.com/makayahlynn…</a> i pray that no one goes to dee and arthur and i pray that everyone will say to to the use of cytotec (misoprostol)
