Went the the ER May 2021 and was seen by Dr. Bruce Gibbon. Whom misdiagnosed me and violated my HIPPA rights. I would recommend not going to this ER if at all possible. If I could give negative stars I would I have filed multiple complaints about my experience with nothing in return.

September 22 2021Katie RN ER department is excellent and very patient. Our brother is mentally challenged and she was very caring and treated our brother with respect and calmly talked to him explaining everything she was doing even though he didnt recognize what she was saying. KUDOS FOR KATIE

We have waited over 4 hours for a bed after my husband had surgery. Noone will talk to us or let us know when he will get a room. We was originally told 1 to 1 12 hours max.

Youd be better off driving an extra 30 minutes to another hospital. Incorrectly diagnosed me with pneumonia gave me antibiotics that didnt work went to another hospital had walking pneumonia. Had nurses take friends to the ICU waiting room rude service clerk wouldnt allow them to leave and go back in for anything.

Okay where to start.? It’s the DIRTIEST HOSPITAL I Have EVER BEEN in no mask in fast track bloody used IVs on the floor NOTHING WIPED Down and the guy in the next room CLEARLY HAD COVID thank The GOOD LORD I CARRY 91% Alcohol on Me ALL the time I did spray EVERYTHING DOWN for the next person it doesn’t take but a second to spray Lysol the didn’t even change the bedding JUST DISGUSTING

Worst hospital nursing staff and doctors. I wouldnt recommend this facility to anyone. Its clear they are understaffed cause they have nurses in areas they are not trained to do. The lack of communication and incompetence is beyond measure. Everyone tells you something different so they dont communicate with each other about your care. And I thought nurses and doctors were suppose to have a certain bedside manner well this hospital clearly does not. The staff stress you out more while in their care than you were before you came in. The higher ups really need to do a better job when hiring these caregivers but than people do lead by example. ANY HOSPITAL WOULD BE BETTER THAN THIS ONE.

Wow where do I start?I owe so much to the wonderful doctors nurses and staff at Bristol Regional Medical Center particularly the birthing center.I travel an hour each way to see Dr.Akin. She’s the type of person we NEED as a doctor. She’s compassionate professional and highly knowledgeable. I quickly noticed that most of Dr.Akin’s patients not only trust her as a doctor but feel as if she is a real friend. She’s a phenomenal physician and I can’t stress that enough. I had a repeat csection and saw her throughout my entire pregnancy. The care I received was absolutely exceptional. I truly believe her decisions with my care saved me so much distress and possibly my life.In addition to the wonderful quality care I received from this amazing doctor the Bristol Regional Medical Center and the other doctors nurses and staff that cared for me provided such a wonderful birthing experience that I can’t say thank you enough. So thankful for each and everyone of them. This has been a prime example of outstanding quality healthcare and just how important not only knowledge but compassion is in this profession.

Dr. Bruce Gibbon is a joke. I waited 6 hours to be seen. I tell him it feels like theres a lump in my throat and the outside of my neck is sore along with my back between my shoulder blades. I tell him I havent been able to eat or swallow any liquids for days. His solution? Magic mouthwash. No looking in to the problem no testing for it nothing. So I guess its not an emergency that I cant eat or drink and havent been able to in days? Pathetic excuse for a doctor.

I wish I could give stars this place needs to be torn down It was so nasty I had to clean my moms room the floors have not been cleaned in a long time To many others to state here but here are a few pictures.

I have head trama after a fall they checked me in at 1045 pm and its 230 am and Ive still not been to triage yet. This is the slowest hospital in the tricities area. Ive seen 4 different couples leave and go somewhere else to get seen because these people take there sweet time and could honestly care less. Ive have a few friends and family members die at this hospital. This is one of the worst hospital Ive been to. Hopefully Im not out here the rest of the early morning.
