I LOVE Dr. Doug Williams!! I'm SO HAPPY he is my new neurologist. I have Multiple Sclerosis and some other stupid diseases and I left there feeling SO encouraged. I'm giving excellence across the board to the entire practice from reception to triage to the doctor himself. Dr. Williams is kind and engaged--he truly listens, he's easy to talk to and asks good questions that help him zero in on my issues. I believe he's no-nonsense and I appreciate that. He's thorough, patient (he didn't flinch at my kagillion questions), answered my questions clearly--he's so smart!--he knows his stuff and then some! And he's a gentleman--helping me to balance when I needed help. I'm so grateful and relieved to be in his care. If you're looking for an excellent neurologist I highly recommend Dr. Williams! Thank you so much Dr. Williams and staff : )

AWFUL!! Would not recommend this Dr. or his FNP Singleton to anyone!! I would give 0 stars if it was an option! This doctor belittled me, provided no help and was downright rude! If you have another option, I suggest you take it! I DO NOT recommend this provider to anyone!

Dr. Williams is of NO help to patients with rare nuerological conditions. He treats them as if their crazy instead. And I've saw him two time since April and both times he wanted me to see a counselor instead of referring me or being of service to me. He has horrible bedside manners. First of all I've suffered with depression and anxiety the biggest part of my life and am smart enough to know that psuedotumor cerebri has nothing to do with it other then the fact it makes those conditions worse. If the nuerological part isn't managed. Which it hasn't been. Diamox is the best medicine for ptc which he took me off and put me on topamax for migraines. Bc I have this disease combined with migraines is what his diagnosis was for me. Which never once helped me. Only caused me headaches. And he only upped my dosage to 100mg and I became suicidal on that dose as it is a side effect. And I called him and he blamed another medicine I was taking and told me to go back to 50 mg. And I did with no more suicidal thoughts. And then again after this past time seeing him which was the second time. He wanted me to see a counselor again and upped my topamax to 100mg again. And released me. I'm filing a complaint within the state for malpractice as he never done a nuerological exam. And just acts as if I'm crazy. Or it's just in my head. Literally it is but only my brain. He needs his license jerked from him. And reschooled on rare conditions and if he isn't apt to handle them then refer me to someone who can. But I now I have a referral to UVA nuerology who treats patients with my condition. Bc unlike these "doctor" around here their ready to see and treat patients and an excellent hospital and worth the drive. And about any Dr referral will do. Thanks to my amazing dr for the referral fax. And all her support and help. Without his input or output. And his nurse Peggy had the nerve to say good luck to me. As if I'm stupid enough to sit around and wait on a bunch like that to do a referral when I'm dismissed constantly anyways. And drive 3 hrs roundtrip. Enough is enough. And I'd watch this Dr. Carefully any under his care I'd use my wisdom against his malpractice.

Everyone working in the office are friendly and personable. Dr Williams works with Healing Hands in order to help the uninsured. He's a great neurologist!

Dr.Williams is a wonderful Dr.He has helped me tremendously!!! When others couldn't or wouldn't. I highly recommend him! He's genuinely interested in the patient.

Dr. Williams paid attention when I told him my ailments, even though he may have heard the same story lots of times. He let me talk at my pace, and he did not waste his (or my) time in idle chit chat. He could add "magician" to his resume.

Front Desk is terrible! I have an appt to see him for the 1st time in Feb 2017. I want to know more about him, have a specific question, yet rec'd No office call-back after more than one week. I called again today, and shared briefly my need--Desk abruptly put me on hold with no explanation! After nearly 5 minutes (timed), I hung up. They did not call me back. I just want to find out abt the dr I will be seeing. Poor office attitudes are set by the Dr. I am going to try to get a new dr, pronto.
