List of Hmg Urgent Care At Bristol's Reviews
MAD MOM story time!! If you walk in & NP Christina ‘Chris’ Nichols Danser is over you or your child’s care RUN! She is the prime example of why companies have lawsuits and grievances. I brought my child here & after a 2 hour wait saw Dr. Polly. She & her nurse were amazing! They talked to my child, actually listened to them, & made it as calm an experience an urgent care visit could be. We were the last ones out & the pharmacy was closed when we left. The next day the pharmacy stated they never got the prescription so I called urgent care & left a message for it to be resent. 230pm still not there so I called again and left another message. 6pm, still wasn’t in so called again & am getting frustrated at this point. I work in the medical field so I get days can get busy but my child is sick & I have given the office a full business day to send it in. The lady was very nice & explained to me that the night before had been very busy which i know from the 2 hour wait, & that the doctor must have forgot to hit send on the prescription. She said notes show Dr. discussed medication with me & the pharmacy it was to go to but since she didn’t send it they don’t know exactly what antibiotic she was sending in & that the NP working did not feel comfortable calling in an antibiotic for a child without seeing them in person. So now my child’s waited 24 hours for their medicine, & it is 7 PM, both the urgent care and the pharmacy close at 8. The lady sent Dr. P a message about the antibiotic but since the NP refused to call it in she said I could bring my child back over so she could look at them & call in the medicine… this annoyed the heck out of me but I want my child to feel better so here we go. The NP Chris walked in the room and first words out of her mouth are “I don’t see in her chart the Dr was sending in antibiotics, I see she talked to you about them but didn’t send them” umm exactly that’s why we are here she forgot to send them. She then goes on to tell me it’s viral before even examining my child. I told her the Dr said my child had a virus but that they also had a ear infection and since they were 5 days in and still running a fever it was best to do antibiotics. My child has a history of frequent ear infections and when untreated they turn very bad so I was in agreement on the antibiotics. The NP stated she doesn’t see any infection in the ear just allot of fluid bubbles and that she will run blood work to see if there’s infection. So now my child is unnecessarily being stuck and the nurse kept rolling the vein so my child was having a rough time on top of already feeling bad. I was beyond mad by this point. We were then taken across the hall back to the room & I did not even have time to sit back in the chair again before the NP comes in & says “I was right the blood work shows it’s viral” it hadn’t been 2-3 minutes tops from room to room so I asked what kind of blood test runs that quickly & she ignored me & goes in to state “So I won’t be giving an antibiotic they just need to ride it out” 🤯 I told her It was ridiculous to have us come all that way when she obviously had no intention on sending in my child’s medicine. She replied “I didn’t tell you to come down here” & began arguing with me. Not only is she unprofessional with zero bedside manner, she is flat out rude! The actual Dr told me the night prior my child had a ear infection & advised antibiotics for extended fever and visible infection in sinuses and the lady I spoke with told me she refused to send it in without seeing my child so I got them out of bed and went up there to be poked & prodded only for a hateful NP to say the doctor lied & they need to ride it out. I got my child & let her know how I felt about her unprofessional ugly self & she replied “well I’m certainly not calling in anything now” So now we get to go to pediatrician tomorrow for a real appointment to make sure no meds are needed & I will be contacting my insurance company, the state, HMG admin, and anyone else I can complain about her to! The way this was handled is disgusting!
It's up behind Bristol Hospital I like the new location. We accidentally left a ball cap behind a bathroom door we informed front desk and by the time we had returned home they had located it and called us.They treated my mother fast and yes I recommend this business they care about their patients!
I went to the new location and they were extremely rude and mean. They had the worst communication i’ve ever seen and i ended up crying because of how bad the experience was.
My 1st time experience at this location, took my grandson, Best caring place ,they were wonderful with him. Awesome rating!
Very fast and efficient. I was in and out quickly.
Very caring and understanding
Not crowded and very quick care. Nice staff. Would highly recommend.
Pretty new to this area and have never been to an urgent care here but my husband and I were very sick Saturday. Both have Covid and my husband has medical issues and they handled us with kid gloves . We both felt our needs and issues were met .. NPP Kallie actually called me at home later in day 👍
January 8, 2023 I took my 91 year old mom to HMG Urgent Care. I quickly knew I had come to the right place. She was treated like a person of value. Karen Jones and Christy Danser NP were thorough, gentle, caring, yet professional. We finally had confidence that mom was receiving the correct treatment and that she was on her way to recovery. Thank you so much.
This office is okay, but Stephanie Toney is a JOKE! Never dealt with a more childish, unprofessional nurse. Literally started throwing a fit because after a 3+ hour wait I asked if I could come back the next day. She flew off the handle, slammed the door to my room on the way out, & was such a child about the situation that she has to send another nurse in to treat me. If you go to sapling grove urgent care, stear clear of this oh so less than pleasant "nurse"

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
