Dr Brasfield did surgery for lumbar rupture in 1997. He was awesome and so caring. Fixed my problem. Now I have extensive back problems with spinal stenosis that needs surgery in L4-L5 S1, but I no longer live in that area so can’t use him. I know how good he did in 1997, I can’t speak for him today in 2021.

I seen him years ago he will lie on you to .lied on me and aother person he is a company man he is out for the money God will punish him the worst doctor ever,Brassfield thinks he is GOD.

By far the worst doctor I have ever seen , I wouldn't even give one star but then I couldn't post my opinion, I was sent for evaluation after he received my MRI n he didn't check one thing except the ends of my fingertips , told me I didn't need surgery, my back n neck was fine but could get someone to send me to pain clinic, neither of which I wanted, he said every older person has degenerative discs in their back , that it wasn't that bad , he asked me what I did for work n when I told him I could no longer work , out the door he sent me , wouldn't even give me a copy of my own MRI , He was very short with me, didn't seem concerned at all about me ,like I said , was sent for evaluation n he didn't check anything

I've been dealing with back pain for years and in 2019, while living in San Jose (CA), I finally got an MRI and was diagnosed with a herniated disc and bulging discs. After getting a bilateral epidural shot, I had relief from my back pain for the first time in years. Fast forward to 2021, my back has been hurting since last fall (plus now I have a knee injury) and I decided to start the process over again. After getting an MRI, I met with Dr. Brasfield and I cannot help but feel like he was very dismissive with care, as if the pain isn't bad enough for his attention. I had to ask for the cortisone shot (scheduled in almost 3 months) and forget getting any pain medication due to the opioid crisis. I'm in pain every day and being told to walk and go to PT to get better seems like he wasn't listening at all. Sadly, I feel Dr. Brasfield made up his own mind about who I am and what I do in one visit, dismissing my pain and need for care. I'm really disappointed and so frustrated.

I got hurt at work, have been in pain for 2 months now. Dr. Brassfield was nice to begin, then after I told him a certain bit of info his attitude totally changed, like I wasn't good enough to help. My first doctor of treatment said my MRI wasnt good, spurs laying on my nerves in my spinal column, but he said it looked fine and to go back to work. I cant do more than 10 minutes of work before I have to sit down with so much pain in my back and leg. He didnt listen to my symptoms and I felt so rushed. If I'm in constant pain everyday then something isnt right, even I know that, I came to him for help and to figure this out and I was just pushed out of there with no help whatsoever. I had such high Hope's of finally getting to the bottom of this and I received NOTHING. IM SO DISAPPOINTED AND IN TEARS. IM NOT ABLE TO return to work but looks like I'm gonna have to learn to deal with it. Maybe it's because I was a COMP CASE OR TO YOUNG I DONT KNOW. BUT I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE. I JUST WANTED HELP TO GET THINGS FIXED.💔

I have had to have four surgeries with Dr.Brasfield. Two corrective surgeries which made me end up in ICU in a medically induced coma on life support. I now have since had two corrective surgeries to try to fix what he damaged , I now have permanent nerve damage and many more issues for what he did to me. Please please seek out a better medical professional and get second opinion.

Dr. Brasfield was wonderful. He did a great job on my husbands back surgery. The lady named Joe that works for him is terrible on the other hand. She is hateful and too lazy to fill out required paperwork for your employer and insurance company.

My husband had a small fall and hit his head...we are so blessed that Dr. Brasfield was able to relieve the pressure from the hematoma he had on his brain...great physician
