Visit 1 would not listen to the symptoms I was describing and made a snide comment to my husband. He ordered both an endoscopy and colonoscopy. Two days later I received a letter with the endoscopy information. As the letter opened with “Dear someone else’s name” I called the office and had in fact been sent someone else’s appointment information. My colonoscopy occurred a week and a half after the endoscopy. Dr. Bailey commented that it had been a long time since he had last seen me in July strike 2. Strike three occurred on Dec. 13 2019. I was scheduled for an appointment with Dr. Bailey at the Sapling Grove facility verified by Houston employees when I arrived to find the doors locked. Upon further digging it was discovered that my appointment had been changed to the Kingsport facility sometime in October without notification to me.

I started having problems with my stomach in Feb. I had been seeing a Dr. in Bristol which I feel was running me in circles. This went on until my primary Dr. sent me to Dr. Bailey. He Immediately came up with a plan got me in for a colonoscopy and was able to find my problem. He does not beat around the bush. It is clear that he is there to help his patients. He is very professional and I appreciate the time he took for me. I highly recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr.Bailey for 13 yrs. I was misdiagnosed by another Dr and sawhim for a second opinionand he took the time to go over everything with me and ran his own tests. Turns out I wasnt dying from a tumor after all. He talked to me not at me andhe caresvery much about his patients. I have also seen Dr.King in his office and shes just like himI love her too really Great People. Thanksto all staff that makes coming there comfortableand they are truly wonderful. ThanksEveryone in that office for making what is usually one of the most unpleasant Dr visitsgastro enjoyable.

I had an awful experience with Dr Bailey. I will never go back. I went to him for severe stomach pain. First he made jokes about my weight. Then he did an EGD and said that there was nothing wrong and that it was muscular instead of stomach related. Four months later I got a second opinion and they found that I have Barretts Esophagus a hiatal hernia reactive gastritis and abnormal mucus in my stomach.

Dr. Bailey is a very caring doctor. I have been in the office and heard him with patients and how caring he is with them. He answers a lot of my questions and doesnt order a lot of unnecessary tests to rack up money.

Perforated intestines during endoscopic proceedure...acute pancreatitis. ..required laparoscopic surgery to flush out abscesses created from leaking intestine..aspiration pneumonia. .staph infection. ..bacteria infection of blood and a 29 day hospital stay with 2 weeks home health care
