I had an appointment in which he were to send a note to a particular location. He stated that he would do that and two weeks later the progress note was not sent. His practice style is distasteful as he does not care to form any sort of connection with his patients, he just tries to get patients out the door as quickly as possible and was told by one of his staff today he sees "70 patients a day." His staff is very rude, when you ask them questions as it pertains to why things are not being done you are labeled as "threatening and have poor rapport." Dr. Jewell does not have the patient's best interests in mind, it almost makes you wonder why practice in a particular field of medicine if you are unwilling to comply with the requirements of such a field. Please try to find another psychiatrist if you wish to receive care that is at least on an adequate level.

I thought he was very unpersonal,didnt seemed like he cared about my situation, just threw mediocre pills at a serious situation, also I feel he is on uppers..he was bouncing around like popcorn.2 thumbs down for this QUACK!!

He gets what a real panic attack is vs a “Xanax” attack. Supportive and very easy to talk to.

Dr. Jewell has been my psychiatrist for 10 years. He has helped me with the death of my mother and best friend, as well as thru having breast cancer and the subsequent emotional problems that derived from those traumatic expreiences. I've referred several family and friends to him and they all feel the same way, that he is an incredible doctor and a blessing to those of us who need him.

Dr Jewell has been a mental life saver for me. He has helped me so much with my mental issues. He is very friendly,sympathetic,caring,and very straight forward. I would recommend seeing him to anyone with mental problems.

Do not let workman comp send you to Dr Jewell. This Man should be bar from practice. Workman comp paid this Doctor off 1465.00 for 15 minutes visited to site with workman saying to have another surgery would not do any good. This Doctor is not walking in my shoes and I live every day with pain. The doctor I am seen now has ask workman comp several times to approve surgery and he will not be of this Doctor. My lower back has not fused and this has been going on sense 2001 where a Doctor from Johnson City screw up my back. DR Jewell can be bought off from workman comp.
