I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Makres My son was sick a lot from daycare as a toddler. He showed my child immense kindness and support during those times. Another time my sons arm was dislocated at the elbow. I had no idea what was wrong with his arm. I took him to the emergency room and they misdiagnosed it. I took him to Dr. Makres and he diagnosed it the minute he walked in the room. He set it back in place immediately. I would wait to see him no matter how long it took. He is a Christian doctor who has dedicated his life to helping children. He is wonderful and has been a God send to our whole family. All of my nephews and my niece see him as well. Thank you Dr. Makres for excellent care you provide

Leaving 1 star because 0 is not a option office has gotten horrible todays wait time was over a hour when we walked out

Dr. Makres is such a blessing to me and my daughter. He puts me at ease being a first time mom always willing to help and if he doesnt know the answer to your medical question which is rare he will sure find it. Seriously an angel on earth

Doctor Makres is a wonderful doctor. He’s blunt and up front which is one reason I like. I would rather have a up front doctor than one that beats around the bush. He goes out of the way to make sure my children are well even sees them on sundays. Great doctor

He was my doctor when I was a kid and now he treats my children. My brother is special needs and he has always went above and beyond for him. My son almost died and he saved his life My personal opinion is that you would be blessed to have Doctor Makres and his team care for your child.

I like Dr. Makres personally but as for a pediatrician for my kids I felt as if he is a little ready to get out of the game. Not that he doesnt know his stuff but its always so packed there and Ive felt rushed which makes the visit feel less thorough. Not to mention waiting room times are ridiculous. But in their decense they do always tell you to come in if your child needs to. I like that they have separate well child areas so your kids dont come in for a physical and leave with the flu. The office is a little....hmm snobby I guess is the word. To put it bluntly. I would be too if I had to deal with hundreds of crying kids and TennCare type parents and I am one so I can say that. Im just not part of the moms screaming at 5 dirty kids smelling like cigs and on their phones the entire time. Still yet I suggest Dr. Mitoraj. Although the Nurse Practicioner at Makres was pretty darn good too Mitoraj is great and his NP is as well. Very thorough. No offence to Makres hes good I think its the other circumstances that make the visits there sort of nerve wrecking. IMO.

Dr. Makers is a terrible Doctor and really needs to retire. He has a horrible bedside manner and no compassion for parents of a sick or injured child. He treats people as if he is better than them and is very condescending. The only reason I bring my child there is because of Dr. Hommel. She is an amazing Dr. and has a wonderful bedside manner. I wish she would start her own practice so I never have to see Dr Makres.

Dr. Makres is always so good with my children and he always calls me right back if i need to call him after office hours and leave a message with the answering service. Highly recommend him.
