Really great place that changed my life. With covid going on leading to understaffed they still found a way to make things work. Food was good Techs are even better. I recommend this place to anyone who is trying to get sober.

Mirror Lake Recovery SAVED my life. I had the most amazing experience while I was there. The techs and staff really do care about the clients I owe my recovery to this place.

Unorganized. No time to sit with yourself and read do any step work or reflect. Nice cabins but you’re locked out all day. No effective communication between staff. It’s a mess. I too lived off of the vending machine while I was there. I was coming off of amphetamines so my mind and emotions were a mess. I couldn’t process any type of group or counseling...my detox was only 3 days. That isn’t enough time to even catch up on the lost sleep much less recover basic learningcognitive skills. When I decided I wasn’t willing to stay anymore they didn’t allow me to use their phone or get numbers from my cell to call for a ride. The second they gave me my phone back they escorted me off of the property with all of my belongings in the middle of burns tennessee standing on the side of the road. It was very harsh. It went against all the “we care about you and your recovery” facade. A woman that worked there that had a real compassion and empathy for me picked me up and drove me into the city of Nashville offering me real genuine help...a human to human sincere effort to help and understand. No underlying twisted motives. I stayed with my past sponsor that night until my family could come and pick me up from East Tennessee. I thought I posted a review last year when all of this happened but I guess I didn’t. I work in treatment now myself and have 10 months clean. Yes recovery is work and something that takes all you have. But I’ll tell you now in the beginning I was so messed up mentally and emotionally that I needed TLC and kindness and compassion. I needed consistency and encouragement. Mirror Lake wasn’t what it was made out to be on the web. It was no down time. Staff that really cared was few and far between. I felt like I was just a number for the money and stats. I recommend “the next door” in Nashville. I recommend “Journeypure”. Hopefully this isn’t a persons first dose of what true recovery is like. Recovery is possible and my life is full today. Blessed be.

I give this amazing place 5stars because they made such a difference in my life. The techs there are what really inspired me. Like shonda and Brittany They’re the ones who really helped me threw my recovery I made a lot of great friends there’s and made some awesome memories I recommend this place to EVERYONE needing help with addiction and needing it fast. This place along with the staff absolutely changed my life. They are phenomenal and should have 5 stars across the board. I had been to 2 other treatment facilities numerous times but this was it. If you’re ready to give up your old life and start a new this is the place that will give you the tools and encouragement to do so. THE STAFF IS PHENOMENAL. I love every one of them and am so thankful for the 35 days I spent there. KEEP IT UP YALL.

I highly recommend this place. I attended from Sept 25 to October 26th 2020. Its a rehab not a daycare. You have to work for your sobriety. I think it is professional. Great groups and councilors. Every where has their flaws. The night before I went I almost changed my mind because of the bad reviews on here but Im thankful I did because its a great place. Females and males are not together except on detox. Not once when I was there did I encounter drugs. The staff is very friendly. Well most anyway. It is going to be what you make it. If you are struggling with the decision to go please go. It might be your last chance to get help. This place has a 100% success rate if you do what you are supposed to. I want to thank the staff there for what you have helped me do in my life and thats to be sober. Miss all everyone

I came here from Florida because I had a friend to get sober here last year. The hospital staff especially the nursing staff really guided me in my recovery. The hospital location was very beautiful on a very beautiful lake. The counseling I received changed my life because there were a lot of things I didnt want to change but the staff were so caring. The meals were professionally prepared I put all the weight back on that I had lost in my addiction. I was at Peace for the first time in my life. I cant tell all the staff how much I appreciate their professionalism. Mirror Lake saved my life
