This is the worst ER that I've ever been to. Everyone was very rude and it took 5 hours for lab work and results. If your not bleeding to death then I definitely recommend bypassing Camden and go to Dickson. Even with the hour drive to Dickson you will still be back home sooner and your experience will surely be better.

This is the worst place you can go to they don't help you with anything and the employees are ignorant and don't care about you

I do not understand the bad reviews. I just went a week or so ago for a mammogram, the staff in the front office as well as those who were doing the exam were extremely friendly and made the whole process (which I have never liked) easy and painless. Will definitely go back there again!

I am giving a 1 because a zero is not an option. Where to start. We have been here since a little after 7pm it is now 1145 pm. The charge nurse was more worried about going outside than doing her job. The doctor has only seen my mother in law one time since we have been here. The nurses are confused and mixing up patients or losing track of them. They wouldn't let anyone back to see her till 1130. The doctor refuses to talk to my wife which is her power of attorney. I would recommend a vet over this place anytime. We are still here as we are waiting for a transport to Vanderbilt.

This hospital saved my life. I was very sick, and after speaking to a few other places, they believed my sickness was due from symptoms of the first covid vaccine. Turns out it was something completely different. I had a blood infection... I had already gone septic... and it turned into flesh eating bacteria. They took very good care of me, kept me calm, and got me to Jackson General for two emergency surgeries that saved my leg and my life. Thank you for taking the time to listen to me as a patient, and not just assuming my symptoms were covid or covid vaccination symptoms. I owe you! Great team!

This place is a joke I wouldn't take my dog there

No, no, no!!! I'm m 62 years old and have had a gazillion mammograms BUT never one like this. Not only was the technician extremely rough BUT the machine quit half way through. Yes, I read reviews BUT I thought...well lets give it a shot. NEVER EVAH AGAIN !

I have had 2 opportunities to be in the ER at this hospital. One time for a family member and one time for myself. In both cases the nurse attending us was great! She seemed knowledgeable and was attentive. The Dr., however was a totally incompetent, condescending and dismissive. He had no answers and washed his hands of the patient almost immediately! I will bypass this hospital ER if at all possible.

This place is absolutely the worst hospital around. My 2 year old son fell down some steps and had a gash in his head. After waiting in the waiting room for over 2 hours we decided to go to fast pace where we were seen immediately. They ended up giving him 2 staples. I will never be back to this dump of a hospital. Camden general hospital is an absolute joke!!!
