List of George Scoville's Reviews
Dr Scoville was thorough, unrushed with his time and answered all questions.
If I could give a lower score and still leave a review, I would. When I received a copy of my medical records, and I was appalled by the inaccuracies in my condition I saw charted by Dr. Scoville. I felt that Dr. Scoville was dismissive of my concerns and generally not invested in me as a patient. I was given short answers to my health questions, and my condition was getting progressively worse. I do not recommend this physician.
If I could give a lower score and still leave a review, I would. Here are a few of the reasons for my low scoring: When I received a copy of my medical records, I was appalled by the inaccuracies in my condition I saw charted by Dr. Scoville. I felt that Dr. Scoville was dismissive of my concerns and generally not invested in me as a patient. I was given short answers to my health questions, and my condition was getting progressively worse. His nurse was unprofessionally short with me on the phone when I called in to get my test results—after I had waited longer for an update than I have ever waited for results from any other doctor. Dr. Scoville's nurse told me that I had a condition that I do not have (and did so over the phone) and said this nonexistent condition was the reason for my increasing symptoms. If working *with* a doctor to find your way to better health is a priority, I suggest you look elsewhere.
Wonderful !!! He treated my husband and was incredibly kind and personable. However, that's not what makes me leave this review. He is well trained and very well read...keeping up with the latest trends and discoveries in Cardiology. He basically gave my husband his life back.
I have been a heart patient w Dr Scovill since 2008. He overlapped stints and I recovered nicely at age 58. He has always been there for me and on top of any issue I might bring. I have tremendous confidence in Dr Scovill!
A knowledgeable doctor who does not fit with the Saint Thomas sentiments. Heart patients need compassion and reassurance. Not sarcasm and unkind humor at the patient's expense. Find someone kinder.
He is no good...if you are unlucky enough to get this guy when you come in on an ambulance try and switch. he seems like a guy who is working only to pay an ex-wife alimony or his boat off. he is out of date, doesn't answer questions, probably hasn't learned anything new in many years. he was not at all helpful, just told me to go back to work with no restriction after a heart attack and that was terrible advice, I had many problems and tons of side effects to drugs that he dismissed totally
professional, excellent bedside manner, and excellent proficiency.
Doctor: Thank you for being my doctor. I feel very secure in your competent hands. During our visit yesterday, Jenny really needed your help. She is having palpitations and racing heartbeats. Please allow her to see you soon. 615-405-7516 cell phone. Also, I forgot to have you renew my three prescriptions. Thank you and God Bless.
I worked in Cardiology clerically, transcriptionist, receptionist, physicians secretary/coordinator. You pick up a lot of things and working with Dr. Scoville and his patients gave me such a respect for him and his abilities. I always said, if a family member needed cardiac care, the first call would be to Dr. Scoville. He is a wonderful man, family man, and physician. Well, it turns out that I needed him. He and his staff have taken excellent care of me and I trust him completely.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
