My wife went to him because she was sick. Told her she was good to work the next day. After about a week she called to schedule another appointment. As she was rescheduling Dr. Van assistant came on the phone saying you have the flu. Never again will we go back to that doctor.

Have been seeing Dr.Van for several years.He listens to your problems and takes care of them Would recommend him to anyone who needs a good general practitioner Thanks for your professional and caring attitude All of my medicine is always called in promptly.Will never change to another doctor.His nurse Kim is also very dependable.Im thankful to have them both taking care of me Excellent service from the both of them Thanks to both of them for their time caring and consideration.I am a very grateful patient to have them both taking care of my medical needs.Thanks to them both.

Dr. Van is the best family physician in our area. He has been my primary doctor since 2001. Sadly though the cost of a simple checkup has more than doubled, even just to see the PA. I can no longer use this practice.

Dr Van Alstine is professional while being friendly and kind. He is compassionate and caring. He is knowledgeable and is able to communicate his medical expertise in a non-threatening manner. He is very approachable and listens to his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Van!

I have been going to Dr. Van for 13 years now. In the last two years, I have had to rescheduled seven times because he canceled. This is sad because I schedule time off from work when going to see him. It is also sad because I looked at him as a great doctor. I am now looking for a new doctor because my time is just as important as his and I cannot keep rescheduling and missing work.

Dr. Vanalstine is the best physician my family has seen. He listens to you and is very down to earth. Unfortunately his office staff is the worse. They do not return calls, not friendly and I have been to the pharmacy several times to pick up rx's and it is not called in. I am still waiting on a referral to another Dr. and it has been 2 weeks and they still do not have it ! If the staff would get on board this would be the best office in Augusta because he is wonderful !

Dr Van is the best physician that I have ever experienced. He is through, he educates me regarding my medications, he takes the time to truly care. I would follow Dr Van wherever he goes. But, of course, I don't want him to ever leave Augusta.
