She's been my neurologist for the past 10yrs. It stinks she's moving away from TN. I wish her all the best. Time to find someone new.

correct me if I'm wrong, but it was my understanding that a Nerologist deals with the head correct? I was sent to this Dr and I have never been so disappointed in a Doctor. She does not listen to the patient at all. I feel like I wasted my time and money. she has no personalities at all and doesn't even smile at all. I would never refer this Doctor to anyone. Again, awful experience !!!!!

My mother has seen Dr. Ackell 4 times. With the exception of the first visit, the doctor has been dismissive and does not seem to listen. She will ask a question then cut my mother off before she has a chance to finish her answer. She simply does not seem to understand nor care how miserable my mother's life has become since this medical issue started. I'm very disappointed. My mother leaves feeling foolish and dismissed. We spend a long time waiting. The last visit we waited for 1 1/2 hours.

she only worries about that bill... I still don't think she has looked at my M R I... and I'm looking for a new doctor one that wants to find what's wrong with me instead of just treating the symptoms and getting that money

Dr. Ackell listened carefully to my concerns. She thoroughly studied my records. Her explanations were thorough . I highly recommend her to anyone needing a neurologist.

She is horrible. Very awkward and does not have good social skills. She seems to only be concerned with the bill at the end of the day. Not actually helping or diagnosing the patient. DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME ON THIS DOCTOR!

Contact with staff considered to be mechanical albeit professional. Clinical contact was rushed and impersonal. No records of vitals. Most of the examination was by the nurse. The Dr barely entered the exam room, asked a battery of disconnected questions interrupting one answer to ask another question. There we're no follow up questions to patient's basic complaints. None of the Dr's questions related to the concerns of the referring Dr. There was no attempt of the Dr to offer an explanation...
