Alycia Cleinman's Online Review Report Card

I have been going to Dr. Clemens since 2017. I have a rare lung Disease. I have trusted her in every situation. Unfortunately, I have dealt with Call in situations during an experience with Covid I have battled. I have had to work with answering service calls and messages. Yesterday was a Friday and I was quite concerned about a UTI that I have after Covid. I called very early and never got a callback. This is Saturday and now I’ve had a call put into the answering service or call nurse again. It is very scary to have Covid. It is very scary the residuals you might have after Covid. But what’s scarier is someone would let you stay a whole weekend with a bladder infection with absolutely no phone call or someone to check back with you. So I’m sitting here waiting again, very uncomfortable with my situation physically and mentally draining me of what Covid didn’t .

I have seen Dr Clienman three times since Fall 21 and am extremely pleased with the care. The staff was helpful and through and kind. I was stunned on my first visit that she took almost an hour to get to know me and my situation. She seemed to genuinely interested in what contributed to my particular health situation. I’ve been taking my dad to Dr. Cleinman for two years. I feel she has been very helpful for my dad. He was getting sick from the medicine other Doctors prescribed him. Dr. Cleinman was very quick in figuring it out and my dad guickly recovered.

When I first heard the term "geriatric medicine," I envisioned it being someone I needed to see when I was in my 80s and in poor health. Little did I know that the Center for Healthy Aging and Dr. Cleinman's team is designed to begin helping you while in your mid-50s so you can age well and enjoy the many benefits of retirement. Planning in conjunction with my doctor how to manage my health so I can stay well is a rather new concept for me as I had only visited the doctor when ill. Dr. Cleinman is unparalleled in her expertise on how the body ages and embodies the term we hear so often, patient centered care. Her Glenwood Drive office team is always so helpful (and happy) and her medical assistant, Jennifer, answers all of my questions with a smile. I normally dread going to see a doctor, but not here. I truly look forward to my visits as I know I will learn more and have a better chance of aging well with this team at my side.

Dr. Cleinman is kind and considerate. She has answered all my questions. Her office staff is very professional and courteous.

I wish that I had read some of these reviews prior to taking my elderly parents to Dr.Cleinman. Our experience was almost identical to the two reviews above. My husband and I took my elderly parents to see Dr.Cleinman. We parked on the third floor of the parking garage and since one elevator was broken, it took us 20 minutes to get an elevator. Excellent. Dr. Cleinman possesses the attributes I desire in a physician - open, friendly, well informed and always willing to listen.

My wife got me to go see Dr. Cleinman and was surprised at the organization and caring her team has. Even though she works for corporate she doesn’t let that get in her way. Hard to find a better practice for older folks.

Warm, engaging and wise. We have only met once, but she asked all the right questions and provided helpful next steps.

An office for Healthy Aging: they sure do not understand the caregiver nor process of getting a 102-year-old wheel chaired person anywhere; it can be a very difficult task.Dr Cleinman's front office staff is rude, no-empathy & lacks compassion. It was my grandmother's initial visit.The receptionist's first words "you have to reschedule; you needed to be here at 10:30". It was 10:50 & we had 11:00 appointment, completed paperwork in hand. At least greet the client, especially 100+elder. I appreciate time frames, schedules & staying on task. If your business is so administratively boxed you can't allow for mishap & loose the ability to at least acknowledge people & make caring but sound judgment calls to assist clientele, you have lost your humanity. Being kind & 'trying' to understand your patients & their caregivers would benefit us all. Working with people & serving others is a calling. It's not for everybody. Horrible experience!
