My daughter's That road level was messed up her and the staff was to the point and nail the issue
Dr. Cornea visited me for the first time at Parkridge Hospital after I was brought in from another hospital by ambulance. I was diagnosed with two very serious health issues. Without her and her staff I do not know where I would be. She had helped me more than any doctor I have seen. I would recommend her to anyone! She is without a doubt the best endocrinologist in the region!
I have been looking for an Endocrinologist for 5 years that actually listened and cared!! She is wonderful, Highly recommend!
Not a safe doctor if you’re overweight. Will just tell you that you’re fat instead of trying to diagnose actual issue. I wasn’t fat. My thyroid was causing inflammation all over my body, because it needed to come out.
Terrible doctor and staff!!
They received my referral in October of 2021 and I still have yet to hear from a real person at this office
Terrible at communication. I was referred by a current patient. On June 2nd I had a referral sent over. Two weeks went by, I called to follow up. I spoke with Dawn. She said it was not on her desk. I asked if there was a way to confirm they received it, she said "I cannot go into the doctors office and go thru her things" I thought that was kind of rude. I called my primary and confirmed it WAS received. Two more weeks go by, I called again and asked for the nurse. I left a message that I was a new patient waiting to here hear back, and that it had been 4 weeks. In ever heard from the office. Two more weeks go by (6 weeks total), I call again. My intent this time was to tell the receptionist that they should just tell people if they are not taking new patients. She insisted on putting me through to Dawn (the referral clerk). I left another message...with no response. Three months after my first contact with the office I called again and left a message for the doctor (on the nurse's voicemail) recounting my story and lack of communication from their office. I told her I thought she should now how her office is treating people. I got a call back within 5 minutes from a nurse (Yasi) who sincerely apologized and said she would request a new referral in the morning and hand it directly to the doctor if I still wanted to move forward with them. I never heard from her again. This is my 3 month experience with Dr. Cornea's office. I wonder if she has any idea how her staff is treating individuals...
Apparently has too much businesses . I have been a patient of hers a couple of years. I had a virtual appointment with her 3 months ago and it must have been during her lunch break, it sure felt that way? 3 months before she was very snippy and short with me during our tele health visit? Yesterday I had an appointment and they never sent me an email or phone call to start the visit.
It is nearly impossible to get an appointment here. The staff is rude and gives you the run-around when you try to schedule. It took months to have my referral reviewed by Dr. Cornea and to finally be called to schedule. At that point, I attempted to reach them for weeks only to be transferred from person to person and leave countless unanswered voicemails. Everyone I spoke with seemed like they didn't care at all, especially Dawn. I was finally able to actually speak with someone who was very short and unhelpful in scheduling my actual appointment. It's actually been a pretty creepy experience. You would think an endocrinology practice would treat patients with a little more kindness, considering the nature of the difficulties we face daily.
She ignores your complaints. Too often her answer is that ‘you are just getting older’ not investigating further. I had a medical problem she ignored. When I had it taken care of by a better doctor she dropped me. (Good riddance) I would see someone else, not her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
