Erlanger ER doctors left my niece stroking out in their waiting room with classic stroke symptoms! Fourth visit via ambulance - losing her sight and use of her legs, she sat in ER waiting room in a wheelchair stroking out for 12 hrs wo treatment - even after being refused necessary treatment WITH INSURANCE 3 times before and 2 ambulance rides! April Gunn was assigned as her physician while in hospital - in and out of ICU and April refused requested specialists to review her case; refused IV fluids and intravenous medications: and even refused to send a patient advocate to her room upon multiple requests! My niece is in a physical therapy facility now trying to regain use of left side! Rather than treating her like a human - April treated her like a lab rat whose life was dispensable and irrelevant!

I prayed someday i would find a Dr. That had a caring attitude and Be really concerned about my health And another prayer answered . She enters the room cheerful and she leaves cheerful . Twenty minutes just fly by. She has to drag me outta the room but being almost three times her age she doesn't haveta exert much energy. I would recommend her and you will know she is very medically knowledgeable Before you leave .

Dr. Gunn is one of the BEST Doctors I have ever had the good fortune, to have. She cares about the whole patient. Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual Health. She is like a trusted friend. She wants to know all about you. Family and daily dynamics, so she can better treat you. She never makes me feel like I am just another file. She is a wonderful D.O. I will never go to another M.D. for a primary Doctor. If for some reason I cannot see Dr. Gunn as my primary Doctor in the future then, I will earnestly look for another. D.O.
