Had to go to ER July of 2020 for a horrific cough Dr Helton was very thorough she ordered the chest x-ray and I was sent home with the proper medication when Dr Helton came back to work the next day it was brought to her attention about the X-ray and she wanted to make sure that I knew that I had a nodule on my lung that follow-up call and message she left for me save my life hopefully as I had stage three lung cancer what has given me a Fighting Chance is that follow-up phone call that she made to me or I would have never known I might be wrong but I don't think it's really too often that an ER doctor takes the time to start a new shift the next day and follow-up with patients im sincerely greatfull forever and so is my family LindaWiley

After being sent to the ER, I paid my hospital bill in full and now in debt with a separate charge for Ms. Bernadette Helton. I never recall seeing this doctor, and I was not given proper documentation of a bill before this charge was sent to collections. This is not okay. Now, I cannot get into contact with this doctor, and I am not paying this so-called bill until I receive proper documentation of what I am being charged for such as an itemized statement. Her billing company states they cannot provide an itemized statement because “they don’t do that.”

Charged $1,300, Never explained why, and wasn't covered by insurance for "Whatever" I was charged for. Title says it all.

Worst Dr. in Chattanooga! Miss diagnosed my son when we kept telling her we thought it was an allergic reaction. A fake diagnosis of bacterial pneumonia (radiologist and other doctors said they had no clue how that was her diagnosis), antibiotics, X-Rays, and $2,500 of medical bills later. Thanks! Glad you are in charge of keeping people alive.

Saw Dr. Helton due to a laceration. She was very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Helton looked at my wound and prepared a care plan. She sutured my wound and quickly discharged me. She was great.

I saw this doc in February of 2017. I already felt bad & she made me feel worse. She had No bedside manner or personality at all. She was quite distant & nonchalant. I was dismissed with 2 prescriptions that did not help, so I had to see my primary care physician. I personally felt dismissed as soon as she walked into the room.

Sent me home from the ER with prescriptions for 7 days worth of 2 harsh antibiotics and 3 days worth of Phenergan. Once the Phenergan ran out, I was unable to keep anything down and became dangerously dehydrated and had to go back to the ER for fluids. My regular doctor was upset at how sick I had become over the lack of some 99 cent pills (literally 99 cents). This second trip to the ER is costing me $2000 and was very avoidable.
