List of Bertrand Anz's Reviews
I went to Dr Anz a few years ago and was referred by my PCP for an abnormal CBC. I mentioned to Dr Anz that I had also had abdominal pain. He ordered a series of blood tests along with headneck bdominal and pelvic CT scans. I went back to go over results and he said “you have too much of one kind of blood cell and a small amount of the other. It’s not anything to be worried about. Your CT was normal but you have a little fat in your abdomen around your liver.” End of conversation. Another year goes by and the abdominal pain gets worse. My PCP orders more tests that result in a referral to a liver specialist. Liver specialist gets the CT report and it says “Enlarged fatty liver suspect NASH. Confirm stage of liver disease with biopsy. Estimate based on size stage 2.” Actual diagnosis after biopsy? Stage 2 NASH. Also diagnosed with anemia and out on iron supplement. Based on my CT scan Dr Anz missed a potentially fatal diagnosis. On my last appointment he told me that my CBC was abnormal because I was obese and that I wasn’t anemic. He said he couldn’t help me. Translation “I don’t want to see past your obesity to help you.” Luckily I found a different Dr that did. I’ve since had bariatric surgery and now weigh 177 lbs. Guess what? The NASH resolved but I still have anemia. A simple OTC iron supplement has gotten my levels under control. Bottom line don’t expect compassionate care if your BMI is more than ideal.
Definitely would recommend Dr. Anz lll. He is extremely knowledgeable in his area of expertise he always takes time to explain my concerns and also shows compassion for his patients. ??
Hes so kind overall great doctor.
Dr Anz is very good at what he does. He is very compassionate to his patients and their family members. He always make us feel better after discussing treatment side effects and what to expect. He and his staff are always readily available when we need them. He has the 1 bed side manner of any physician I have ever known. We are very blessed to have this physician in Chattanooga Tn. Thank you Dr. Anz Sincerely Mr. And Mrs. David M. Haley.
Very caring and considerate and listens intently to my fears and concerns. Works well with my Rheumatologist and makes sure I am up to date on his treatment.
Count on a half hour to 45 minutes for a lab nurse to call you in. Then after they take blood my average wait for Dr. Anz has been another half an hour.
He has been the only MD to address my anemia in a positive manner.
Dr. Anz is outstanding. He is young compassionate engaging and always takes time to listen to and answer all your questions. I consider myself lucky to have him as my oncologist and I would recommend that anyone with a new cancer diagnosis seek him out.
Ive been seeing Dr. Anz for awhile now and Im very pleased with him. Dr. Anz takes time answer all my questions and never seems to be in a hurry to get to the next patient. He seems to be a very compassionate person and I feel very fortunate that he is my chemotherapy doctor.
I have had one appt with Dr Anz and was very pleased. He seemed like a very concerned and compassionate Dr. I will start chemo treatment from him very soon. I truly feel confident that I will be getting the best care from him and his staff.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
