I had a appointment with Dr. Washburn and I was so nervous and anxious. She came in to talk to me and explained my situation to me in a way that I understood everything and her bedside manner and calming voice took years off of my worries. She is totally amazing and I will never go anywhere else. She is totally awesome!!!!!

Within a relatively short period of time and after a series of tests, I was in surgery with Dr. Washburn to have some very low level cancer in L breast removed. She openly/professionally shares every step of everything from start to finish. Dr. Washburn is without a doubt in my mind among those who are Top Care Providers. I honestly feel she is one of the few medical professionals who, under her care, has made me feel so secure. Furthermore every member of her staff knows how to talk with a patient while helping one to feel comfortable. They answered my questions prior to me even asking as well as impressive follow-up in attempts to keep me healthy It's not likely that I will go anywhere other than CHI Memorial since they're so above average in literally every aspect of patient care. In closing I am certain that CHI Mem realizes how fortunate they are to have Dr. Washburn on their staff

My mom had surgery with Dr. Washburn. She is the best. We were worried to death due to the breast cancer shock. She calmed us down and explained everything in detail. We are very thankful for everything.

I have never been to a doctor to explain surgery etc. better than her. she takes her time and is not rushed. she talks to you like u are the only person around and it makes no sense how many people are around her. she is the best!!!

Dr Washburn is wonderful. Knowledgeable, great bedside manner, excellent surgeon. I trust her completely and highly recommend for breast cancer surgery.

She is the BEST..She explained what was going on with my breast cancer & answered all my questions ( (I had a bunch) & did not fill rushed .( like I was her only patient) ..I highly recommend her..The nurses & staff are also the BEST..

This is an amazing doctor. She is both competent and compassionate- a combination rarely found these days. I went in for a biopsy. She was reassuring and listened to my concerns without judgement. She understood why I was frightened (family history breast ca). She spoke right on my level and didn't talk over my head. Highly recommend her-Best doc ever.

I was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer on February 3rd, 2014. Dr. Washburn had done my mammogram, ultrasound and a biopsy in her office the Thursday before I found out the devastating news. She is one of the kindest and caring doctors I know! She doesn't rush you in and out, she takes the time to slowly explain this life changing event in your life. Her office staff had a game plan for my specific case. Would recommend her to anyone facing a cancer diagnosis!

She explains everything she is doing and takes time to answer your questions.

Dr Washburn is awesome she makes sure you understand everything she explains to you and if you don't understand she explains more until you do and don't treat you like your less than her #1 patient. I highly recommend her
