Bill Smith's Online Review Report Card

I was recommended by my school nurse as I thought this was a clinic for my public school. I had a Baker's cyst and wanted to confirm that. Dr. Smith saw me for maximum of 10 minutes after I had x-rays and waited over an hour in the examination room. The bill was over $600. I tried to get them to reduce my part of $300 but they would not hear of it. Very disappointed. No questions as to a new patient, such as my peri-osteoporosis condition or medication, although they said it was because I was a new patient. This is why I avoid going to doctors more and more. They think they can charge this high amount for very little services. Terrible experience.

Dr. Smith and his colleagues have moved and are settling into their new offices on Riverfront Pkwy. Any such move is chaotic from a logistics perspective, but all seems well. Dr. Moore and his fantastic staff have been taking care of my PCP and athletic injury issues for several decades. They are wonderful to work with on a professional level, and are just great people. I am very grateful for their attentive care and their kind friendships.

Dr Smith takes great care of our athletes, parents, coaches, and faculty. He and his team work hard for every patient and do everything they can to ensure their safety and put them in a position to be successful and achieve their goals! Thank you Dr. Smith!

Dr Smith has taken care of both of my children with various sports injuries. He is always thorough, patient and professional. I especially appreciate his conservative approach to treatment.

The worst service and attitude in dealing with patients I have ever seen. The clinic management is horrible, irresponsible, to the point of making the patient feel worse. This is probably why the past few times I visited this office there were almost not other patients present. I also got into a billing issue and the manager avoided contacting me for days while I tried to contact her. The experience with this clinic is extremely unpleasant that I decided to drop them and never go back again.

Office staff is horrible. They are rude and unhelpful. They failed to return phone calls on 3 occasions... Once even hanging up. In the about 10 times of visiting the Pineville road clinic, I saw an actual Doctor once. Management of this clinic has gone to new lows in the medical world. Oh, and they goofed up the billing for my wife's visit so insurance won't pay.

Dr. Smith ignored my repeated pleas for help with 2 problems (horrid headaches on one side of my head/severe pain in neck & shoulders & terrible knee pain) for nearly a year: during that year, my blood pressure also climbed to a dangerously high level. Finally, he x-rayed my knee, finding that all cartilage was gone, and I had a medial meniscus tear! He also finally sent me to a neurologist, who found that I have spinal damage in 2/3 of my spine. Dr. Smith is a grossly incompetent doctor.

Dr. Smith was very polite and asked pertinent questions about my conditions. He was very through.

Dr Smith refused to discuss my all medical issues on my first visit. I was told by the Dr and his nurse that he didnt have the time to discuss or even allow me to bring to the table my 5 medical conditions, all of which I take medication for daily, thereby allowing me to go without medication. He would not discuss medications for 3 of the five medical problems, one of which is a medicine that can not be abruptly stopped. When I made the appointment I was sure to tell the staff that I would need time to discuss my complex medical history. The total time the Dr spent the room was nine min. Furthermore dismissed a soft tissue spine injury based on an x-ray. A condition that was previously diagnosed by multiple Doctors including a spine surgeon using MRIs. He also refused to follow thru with the recommended referral to a neuro surgeon that was recommended by a spine Doctor. I would not and will not recommend Doctor Bill Moore Smith to anyone, and plan to change Doctors as soon as possible and file a Quality of Care complaint.
