List of Biram Hicks's Reviews
We feel fortunate that Dr. Hicks took care of my husband during his recent stay at Memorial Hospital North. He is one of the best doctors we’ve ever had care for us. Thanks much to Dr. Hicks.
I went in because I have kidney stones. I waited over an hour before I was seen. The staff was very slow and unorganized. I was asked by 3 different nurses if I gave a blood sample yet. I was given phenegran for nausea and was told I was given 2 shots of dilaudid intravenously and 2 shots of morphine intravenously and was still in severe pain. If I were given that many shots of that strong of pain killers I wouldn't have felt anything for days! My pain was 8-9 out of a 10 scale. I asked the nurse if she was using a placebo and she acted like it offended her. In this case I'm almost positive they were not giving me anything for pain. I understand that you have addicts that go in just to get a quick "high" but I have insurance, they did a xray to prove I had kidney stones and yet they still let me sit there for hours in severe pain with no relief. They did not ask me any questions on how much pain meds that I had taken before they started giving me the "placebo" shots. Which is odd to me and makes me think that they had no intentions of relieving my pain. Upon my release I was given 1 10mg percocet and a rude nurse escorting me out. This is at North Park Emergency in Hixson TN. Overall experience was awful at best. I will be filing a complaint!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
