He is late for appointments every time we have come. It is disappointing that other patients are called back and they arrived after us Ask the receptionist each time and am told he is running late.
He is a an amazing surgeon Dr Cunningham I would recommend him to anybody I had a really bad motorcycle wreck back in 2017 I had to be airlifted from East valley road and sequatchie county to Erlanger downtown they told me that they was going to cut my leg off the only thing that was holding my leg together was my main artery I broke everything in my leg to shattering my knee to breaking my upper and lower femur the bone was sticking out of my leg I no longer have the bone underneath my kneecap and a few other pieces but somehow that man was able to fix it and I got to keep my leg it hurts almost every day but I'm glad to have it and it wouldn't have been possible without Dr Cunningham he is a gift from God him and his staff are very friendly and loving and caring people they truly take care my whole right side was messed up and they took really good care of me he came to check on me everyday after my surgery had three different surgeries with him and going to have to have another one I was in the hospital for 20 something days
Great doctor he amputated my right leg below the knee and has been great to deal with.
On January 26, 2018, I fell off of the roof of our barn. I sustained a double compound break in my lower left leg and five broken ribs. I was air lifted to Erlanger Emergency trauma center where Dr. Cunningham placed an Ex-Fit on my leg to stabilize the injury. He eventually put screws and plates in my leg and the recuperation period began. Unfortunately after a year, the cartilage in my ankle degenerated. I had decided to have the foot and ankle fused together. Dr. Cunningham would not do that until after I had consulted the ankle replacement doctor at Erlanger. Dr Jesse Doty. After the visit, I decided to have the complete ankle replacement performed. The replacement was done February, 2019. After carefully following Doctor's orders, I was back on my feet by mid-summer. As I progressed in my recuperation, I set a goal of that year to hike up Clingman's Dome- the highest elevation in Tennessee by Labor Day and I did. Thanks to the best Doctors for giving me my life back.
I would have to lie to say anything bad about this man or his team. They told my family I more than likely would not keep my leg due to the significant trauma from a tragic motorcycle accident. It broke my femur, tibia, fibula, pelvis and arm. I was in the midst of creating a rare comeback story to boxing & mma before my wreck. I continued to tell Cunningham and everyone if I kept my leg i would train again and fight again someday. I know they thought i was crazy or delusional understandably so....I put too much time in this to quit now. It dawned on me that it's about more than just me now. Now I have a comeback story of a life time. Already had enough adversity in my life to comeback from, but now something physical that would make most quit at life. After self pitty party the first week or so i made the decision to do this for everyone who's considering giving up at life, their dreams, and so on. Ive spent the last year working harder than I ever have at anything in my life. Earning me too much respect from too many while at the same time inspiring so many. This is only just the beginning for me. All the thanks in the world to God, Bryce Cunningham, & his team. I'm obviously here for a reason and will not stop until I prove any and everyone is capable of doing anything you want. There is nothing thats impossible. Its all about perspective and how bad you truly want it. People before me have already proved it and I will do the same. Live your dreams, stop making excuses, ask yourself how bad you really want it. Settle for mediocrity and you will look back with regret later. THANKS BRYCE TO YOU AND YOUR TEAM. I WILL BE IN DEBT TO YOU ALL FOR LIFE. PLEASE IF INTERESTED IN FOLLOWING A COME-UP STORY FOR THE BOOKS, YOU CAN FIND ME ON INSTAGRAM @ TheRelentlessBP GOD BLESS YOU ALL, & MUCH LOVE!!!
My boyfriend had dislocated his knee and tried popping it back in place himself resulting in more of an injury so we went to the emergency room and they referred him to this orthopedic. They stated his injury was very bad, he had maybe torn something and there was fluid. Whenever I had called the receptionist she was very rude, kept saying the doctor would not take him because it’s just an injury. If the hospital thought it was “just an injury” then they wouldn’t have referred him here. Therefore we will be going to a different orthopedic that actually cares about their patients.
My ankle was crushed very badly during a car accident, I thought it might have to be amputated. Dr. Cunningham performed surgery to stabilize my leg, a few weeks later he performed a 4 hr surgery using 24 screws and 2 plates. I can’t thank him and his staff enough for saving my foot and every step I take is a testament to his dedication and knowledge! Thank you so much Doc! ??
I was referred to Dr Cunningham as surgery was one of the options my drs and I were looking into. I had multiple recent xrays, MRI scans, blood tests, three months of physical therapy, and several appointments with a foot and ankle specialist. I came to Dr Cunningham with hope that I would walk away with more knowledge of my condition or at least some constructive advice. However, I was not treated ...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
