Dr Simms is fantastic. She is so knowledgeable and has connected with my kiddo and has hootenanny him on the right meds to help him manage his ADHD. Love this office

I love Dr Sims ! She's been my 2 kids an myself for 11 years. Caring, loving, an like family to me. I think low reviews from ones that didn't get anything they wanted. Because she's very good psychiatrist. My kids love her.

I'm giving a average star a 3. 5 stars for Dr. Simms and if I could give 0 stars for the receptionists I would. I've been going to her for years (off and on) and it is like pulling teeth to get them to answer their calls. I called them maybe once every 45 minutes every day and might get them one time.

I have been seeing Dr Simms for a long time. She is great I have a lot of problems and she helps me with all of them. Without her I don’t think I would be alive she has always been there for me and my family. I think that if she moved somewhere else I would move there too. She is a great doctor I had been to others before her and nobody could help me like her. Her office staff is very nice also. They keep you informed of everything. There’s no one better than Dr Cassandra Simms.

Horrible outfit - primary Dr referred our daughter to Simms in early Nov 2019 - appointment menu said it would take 1-2 weeks to confirm appt. Called twice over the next several weeks - never returned phone call and never got an appointment. We found another Dr.

I ve been with Dr. SIMMS for several yrs. My baby is now 11yrs old, he is non verbal and has autism. I started seeing her when she was in Cleveland, now she is in Chattanooga. She has been good to me and my son. She has moved schedules around just for him. She listen to me and she cares for my baby. Yes, I believe there was some issues yrs ago with the secretary but they have a new one name LeeAnn. She calls me back every time, yes sometimes it can take sometime but she does call me. I never have written a review, but I was on her trying to get an address and i saw these reviews. I was just there on yesterday at 6am, and was happy when we left her, i believe she cares for my child Jahlon therefore i give her a 5 star more if i could. I do recommend Dr. Cassandra Simms.

This review is only for the person who is in charge of answering the phone and returning calls. I have tried for two weeks. I daily call to get an appointment after getting a referral. I have left several messages and even one that any time and date was ok with me that they could leave a detailed message on my voicemail. Two days later I got a very short message they were returning my call there was no appointment set. I call daily at least six times all thru the day. There is never an answer other than the secretary's voicemail. I am unsure how they can keep appointments when she never answers the phone. Thankfully the therapist got my appointment set up. She is amazing and returns calls within a few hours and will email back almost instantly. I know they have a great staff there if you could just get someone on the phone or to return the calls.

Tried for two months to get an appt. They will NOT answer their phone. The voice mail message is extremely long each time outlining the process of obtaining a referral. Had one referral sent. No answer. Called. Of course no answer. Went in person. Was told they didn't receive it but assured me as soon as they did there was no waiting list and I would be seen. Went back to my dr. Had them send it AGAIN. Called the office. NO answer again (surprise) - Went in person, was told they received it but this time she was not helpful, said she couldn't help me right now and that she would "Call me" never received a call. Tried to call them again and they do not answer. I'm over it. I told her I didn't care what it would cost, I have insurance and also can pay cash. I just needed simple therapy and med management. That's it. They don't seem interested in new business - just wish they would post that instead of playing phone games.

Dr. Simms genuinely cares about her patients. I have been in her care for 5 years and we have a great doctor / patient relationship. She has been extremely successful with treating my chronic anxiety. The clinic atmosphere is calming and serene. Everyone who works there is very courteous and professional. I highly recommend you give her staff a call for an appointment!

Dr. Simms is a wonderful very smart doctor, however, it is impossible to communicate with her unless you are actually at your scheduled appointment. I have had continued problems with her contacting pharmacies for what they need to fill prescriptions, which has left me in a horrible position with my child over the weekend on several occasions. She will not return phone calls herself at all. Her receptionist may return your call 2 days later. But you are told not to leave multiple messages. Incorrect dosage amounts have been called into pharmacies, leaving me not knowing how to medicate my son. Her staff makes it literally impossible for you to communicate with her. So, to sum it up, she is great and knows medications very well, but you better hope you don’t have any questions or problems before your next scheduled appointment! Her office manager is also extremely rude and VERY unwelcoming.
