I have been a diabetic for 26 years. When Ilived up north my endocrinologist took bloodwork and the bloodwork came back that I was type 1. This has been confirmed by three other doctors. The doctor here, with out doing any bloodwork just a finger stick test, determines that I am type 2. How can you determine a patient is type 1 or type 2 without doing any bloodwork ?Seriously thinking of looking for a new endocrinologist. I thought if you are insulin dependent you were type 1.
At one time I would have rated them higher, but as of late, those answering the phones are extremely rude for no reason that I've caused and concerns and issues are not listened to. Also frustrated with the lack of listening to symptoms and only treating surface level numbers. Won't be going back if I can help it.
Very disagreeable with elderly customer.
Love the staff here and Misty is wonderful.
I have had Hashimotos thyroid disease for over 20 years. My doctor moved, so I was sent to this practice. Due to COVID 19 I have been without regular medication for 6 months. I clearly explained to the physician my current negative symptoms and that I feel best when my blood levels of thyroid stimulating hormone are at 1.0. This is in the normal range, but on the lower end, and where every other doctor has advised or agreed to keep it. I asked her if she treats for lab numbers or patient symptoms. She said she would medicate lab values over 2. I was called back and told my lab values are over 3, within the normal range and will not be treated. Under this (lack of) care I would continue to enjoy weight gain, constantly painful joints, hair loss, and exhaustion. But at least my labs would be normal. I advise you find a different doctor.
Great friendly staff. They go beyond to make sure you are taken care of.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
