Chad Smalley's Online Review Report Card

The office staff were efficient but attentive. All the health care team I encountered were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Dr. Smalley explained my situation in depth with me, and he went over my x-rays with me. He answered every question I had, and he was friendly and courteous. Even though the appointment was handled very efficiently, I never felt rushed.

Smalley is a liability- does not work with facts or accurate data. He would not look at the MRI. Submitted MRI, confirmed location. Arrived and they had the wrong MRI and would not accept the copy I brought. He advised based on a factually incorrect MRI and “feeling” rather than facts or relevant variables. He told me that the current MRI was not relevant (during a follow-up requiring comparison) and he refused to look at or acknowledge the information on the current MRI that I was holding in my hands. He refused to do his job. Smalley initially texted canceling our appointment then when they booked me for the wrong location. Today, tried to use the old images for a new injury and old worsening 2 torn ligaments, new bone spur, worsening inflammation, thinning cartilage, and bone on bone constant pain. After and reconfirming today via call (spoke with Amy and Tanya) that Smalley had received the current MRI, they said he had. However, he had no valid information after faxing 3 different numbers and submitting new/follow-up MRI. Finally, he refused any consideration of further service (a new appointment with accurate images) blindly without seeing the actual new MRI for follow-up and contradicting himself said twice that “without seeing the new MRI, there’s no way of knowing. ?!?!? His exam was based on feelings. My high pain tolerance was incomprehensible so I began to tremble but he didn’t believe anything I said, he forced me to do the exam even though I said it was damaging to do the exam. I did the entire exam and began to cry if somehow he would receive the correct MRI but gave no way to get it to him. He refused to correct his liable mistake. Both me and my physician sent the MRI and he still advised based on the old. He blindly diagnosed and advised without any accurate data.. said it was a weakness issue and that I should stop supporting the injured joints and torn ligaments and begin exercising more when even sitting still unsupported in the office had brought tears of excruciating pain as the entire torso and shoulders are worsening. He dismissed findings of the other 2 team experts, PrimeImaging technician & doctor (the ones I have seen over 7years that recorded the images and symptoms) and blindly told me to do the opposite of their advice.

Dr. Chad Smalley is the most thorough Dr. His bedside manner and knowledge of his patients is beyond comparison to any other Dr in his field. I can't begin to explain how knowledgeable and understanding he is. He listens and answer every question. He explains anything you don't understand and does all this with patience and grace. The best surgeon by far on knees and shoulders!! Gifted from God above and knows where his gift comes from appreciatively. Great person, Dr., surgeon.

Dr. Smalley and the staff were great! They answered all of my questions and were very efficient at getting me in and out.

Dr Smalley is a great physician and know's what he is doing. Trust him totally. And he has a great staff working with him.
