Dr. Schmitt has been my gastroenterologist for 20 years. If it werent for her I would have had colon cancer years ago. She has removed colon polyps almost every time shes done my 11 colonoscopies with her. She is absolutely great.

6319. I had a colonoscopy today at Chattanooga Endoscopy Center. Dr. Schmitt was my doctor. All of the staff that I encountered made it a very positive experience. Dr. Schmitt was wonderful and very kind and patient with me explaining what she found. Also she was encouraging to me and looked me in the eyes when she talked to me. Dr. Schmitt is my favorite Doctor. She really makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. She has a great sense of humor. She has been seeing me for over six years and I have always felt like she has my best interest at heart. If you want a Dr. and Staff that makes you feel at home go see Dr. Schmitt.

I saw her for almost four years. She gave up. She wasnt caring and never listened to me. Her advice to me was to get on a feeding tube and wrote me a prescription for an antidepressant. All she ever did were endoscopies and blood work. She did nothing else. So on my own I went to a vascular doctor who did several other tests and discovered i had median arcuate ligament syndrome and I was finally cured of my never ending pain. Because of Dr. Schmitt I suffered for four years.

I was really worried about having the Colonoscopy procedure but all my worries were gone after being prepped for the procedure. Everyone was so attentive to my fears and concerns you couldnt have asked for a better prep team. Just before putting me under for the procedure Dr. Schmidt stopped by to talk with me about the procedure explained everything step by step a really nice demeanor or beside manner if you prefer.
