was first assigned one surgery consultant which did her job and extremely helpful. Then I got a different one who did as little as possible. Complained to office manager bc I had a friend going through the same thing and she knew a ton more information than I had received. Nothing was done that I’m aware of either complaint I made. Their YouTube video Its said that the bariatric floor had only bariatric trained nurses. was there 3 days shy of a month, due to multiple complications, never met a single nurse that worked the bariatric floor. They were all pulled from other floors in the hospital according to the nurses that cared for me. Very understaffed, very little compassion. Had complications 3 months later, I lived an hour away and bc of the chronic diarrhea I was having a hard time making it that distance. All I was ever offered was to come in & he’d be glad to see me. Diarrhea around the clock 15x + a day,an hour drive is not possible. Don’t regret surgery just the people.

Dr. Cronk did my RNY Gastric Bypass and I have been nothing short of amazed. He had wonderful bedside manner and answered all my questions (I had a LOT). He has been wonderful thru all of my post op appointments as well! Would highly recommend!

Critical: Communication, Professionalism, Quality I have been in pain for 2 days. Went to ER this morning at 430 500am. Had CT...they couldnt find anything. Came home been on couch all day in severe pain. All I was given when I left ER was Zofran and Hycosimin. Called Dr. Cronk, DrPhillips, and Dr. Sanborn asking for help. Dr. Sanborn was on call...told me to go back to ER. Is this the way a doctor should treat a patient, when they had already been to ER and nothing was done... Good thing they carry Malpractice Insurance.

Dr Cronk is the best! He has the best bed side manner, easy to understand on how things can effect your body. He really cares for his patients.

Dr.Cronk completed my Gastric Bypass in September 2018. I have lost over one hundred pound as of July 2019. Dr. Cronk has been very helpful throughout the process of weight loss surgery. I have never had any issues getting in contact with Dr.Cronk or his staff. His staff have very knowledgeable and friendly towards me along with my family.

Dr. Cronk has been a wonderful doctor. His follow up has been great. He listens and takes the time needed. I had complications and he went above and beyond what was needed to take care of me. I would recommend him.

Thank you Dr. Cronk! You provided the tool I needed to take my life back. When I was almost completely hopeless, you guided me to the right decision. You supported me through both being terrified to undergo surgery, and the emotional challenges and doubts obesity patients can have after years (decades) of failure. Flawless surgery. Positive and encouraging demeanor. Always took time to answer all my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Cronk.

Dr. Cronk changed my life. His speaking to a group I was in helped me know that surgery was the way for me to go. He helped guide me to what was right and down the right path to success. I went from barely being able to briskly walk across a street to just finishing RUNNING a 10K 19 months and 170 pounds out. I would recommend him to anyone. My only regret is that he moved out of state. :(
