Dr Hetzel was very rude to me. Had absolutely no bedside manner. I am a cancer patient and he made me feel like I was a nobody. He was hateful. I asked to be referred to another doctor in that group and was denied. A patient has a right to see who they want to. They could care less about you or your problem

I was referred for severe IBS issues that were making me chronically miss work and lose a lot of weight unintentionally. From the start he told me that he doesn’t fill out fmla forms for even his sickest patients. When I became upset he mocked me and said that my mental state could be causing my gi issues. I spoke with his nurse a week later and he still refused to help me knowing all about my symptoms and how they affect my job. Dr. Hetzel either doesn’t care about his patients having jobs or he’s just too lazy to fill out paperwork to help someone who needs him. How does he expect people to continue seeing him when they don’t have jobs or insurance? I’m disgusted that I paid to be treated the way I was. I literally left the office in tears and no one cared. No one called I had to reach out only to be retold that he is a terrible person. He needs to find his passion for his work again or just retire. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to him for help.

Thankfully referred me to Dr. Hunter Jennings for surgery opinion after my colonoscopy which saved me from serious possibly fatal colon complications.

Dr. Hetzel is a wonderful dr and person. He takes time to listen and answer questions. He is a very caring doctor and will do whatever is needed to find out what is wrong with his patients. I would and do recommend Dr Hetzel to anyone that is looking for a good doctor.
