Erlanger North Hospital's Online Review Report Card

Update 48hrs later I am back in pain the antibiotic given in er must have wore off have woken up 2x out of sleep and can’t bite down once again 🤦‍♀️I would like to whole heartedly thank Mark S. Bowers MD for what felt like saving my life I have continual dental problems after going to Erlanger east as I normally do 2x in the same day telling them antibiotic was not working in response told wait until 72 hours then come back I received a dental block that helped for a min I requested that as well they had me on norco I told them that as well as ibuprofen wasn’t working do they have any other option response was that was the strongest I told them they could keep the norcos I don’t want to become addicted to a opioid that I continue to take but doesn’t work 3 days of excruciating pain unable to even care for my toddler had to call my family to come over Finally Erlanger north listened imagine that the dr looked at my chart and was able to do some digging and get me a antibiotic shot and some strong nsaids along with Benadryl and guess what my infection inflammation And swelling went down Still tender and painful but okay enough for me to finally eat and drink fluids I am forever thankful for the dignity and respect this md showed me I will return to Erlanger north as long as they continue to contract thorough drs

Zero stars if possible. Waited 10 minutes with nobody here. Finally found the security guard whom I asked if anyone was checking people in. He stated “yeah she may be in the bathroom.” We wait another 5 minutes and the receptionist DRAGS in with a coffee in hand. She says “are you here to see a doctor?” To which we respond yes. She says “then you need to sit over here.” With an attitude. No I’m sorry for having you wait no explanation nothing. Thankfully I did not have a life threatening illness. This is my regular hospital and have had a few encounters with this lady whom is never very welcoming but this drew the line. You work in a hospital. Checking in I’ll patients. I would assume you would be expected to be in your seat ready to help patients in need. This is beyond poor.

This hospital has very poor treatment of people. I once had a family end up their emergency after an accident. He was covered in his own waste and they didnt even clean him or take care of his wound from the fall. And today I was told that it doesnt matter that I cant wear a mask due to asthma. Unless I wear a mask I cant come in. So I chose arthritis pain over.passing out in the floor. I will NEVER step foot there again.

Night shift is so rude anytime after five the nurses and doctors are mean rufe and make you feel so dumb they rush you in and out like they just want you out of their hair cut you off mid sentence when your trying to answer their questions they are asking in concern of your health ive gone when my gallbladder got infected i could barely walk couldnt see straight and one nurse i got when she was wanting me to sit back in my wheel chair to get wheeled back from xrays i was stumbling round to find the wheel chair that was behind me and she ful on yelled at me for not sitting fast enough needless to say i got admitted downtown for a week because of what was wrong with me

Rude. One doctor ruined the experience for the rest of the kind staff.

Not happy what so ever. first time here normally go to memorial explained my symptoms of RLQ pain that had me in tears and the only test given was a urine and pregnancy. no CT no blood nothing and given a shot of toridol nurses were rude and i could see them writing my pain off due to another condition going on. I learned another patients info while waiting for the doc. Will never come back whatsoever id rather drive downtown or to memorial

Got two bills. One from the hospital and one for the doctors. Emergency room visit for 2 hours include lab work and xray. Total $2400 plus dollars. Plus suppose to be self pay. Do not have that kind of income. Professional service for unprofessional billing. Not happy.

I’m literally setting here waiting for lab work. There are 3 people ahead of me. No one is working. This place SUX
