List of Galen East Internal Medicine And Pediatrics's Reviews
Another disgusting example of medical profiteering. I'm fully insured and can pay cash if needed; however, the first question this group asks is "what insurance do you have?" Ask me what medical problem I am experiencing first. My primary Dr. was Dr. Bujak. Incredibly thoughtful and kind physician. He recently moved to this group and due to their thirst for. money and lack of humanity, I have lost a great doctor.
We use dr.gunter and he's been the best with both my girls. He always listens to my concerns and refers me to a specialist to get down to the root of the problem. I'll use him as our pediatrician until he retires!
I don't know why this place has bad reviews, this office was very professional, and the staff was very kind! I went to see Dr. Kristin Evans; Dr. Evans is very professional and really understood me and really listened. Definitely recommend this office to those around me. The ladies in the office are super sweet too!
Went here for an upper GI procedure. Everyone was nice, polite, professional and put me at ease. Did not wait long after my check in and it was a pleasent experience. Thankful for those that helped with prep, assisted with and did the procedure. So far I have had great experiences with a couple different Galen offices and those who have called have been professional as well.
I had fever - got rejected to be admitted, I got headache - I got rejected to be seen by the doctor, I got stomach issues - I got rejected to be seen by my family doctor. Only telemedicine, this place should be shutdown
Dr Gooden is awesome
Love my Doctor at Galen Medical !!
I missed three appointments as a no call no show, yes I know, wrong thing to do, HOWEVER, two of the those times I was out of my head with no potassium in my body. I couldn't even stand, I would fall and was completely out of my head, had no idea where I was ! I owned a large business for many years, if I had dismissed my customers my CHILDREN would have starved. So go ENJOY yourself there, just don't get put in ICU and miss an appointment because they will give you your walking papers! I understand their rules, but doctors are supposed to CARE about our health no MAKING their BMW payment! ( if there was a zero stars they would have gotten it!)
If I could give them 0 stars I would!! They take money and misapply payments. You send payments for the provider billing and they apply it or pocket it somewhere else!! My account with them is so messed up I am having to go back and locate payments and compare to what insurance says I owe and to whom!! I will never deal with another Galen doctor again! They dont even understand their own billing system!
He doesn't even deserve 1 star and I hate to even put this but it needs to be said to prevent anyone else going through what i have with Dr. Smith. I have never met a more unprofessional doctor in my life from the get go he made me feel less than and even called me the queen of weird once because i had an allergic reaction. I just needed someone to listen to me and take me seriously, but i never even got that i was treated as if i wasting their time.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
