Dr. Gangavarapu is a pleasant man but does not have the training to practice psychiatry in the state of Tennessee. The State Board of Medical Exmeners has sited him for not meeting the requirements for continuing education. After calling his office for over six times he has yet to return my phonecalls.
Dr. Gangavarapu does not have the training to practice psychiatry in the state of Tennessee. The State Board of Medical Exmeners has sited him for not meeting the requirements for continuing education. After calling his office for over six times he has yet to return my phonecalls. His patient is scheduled to be discharged from Ridgecrest Valley West today and he has not chosen to discuss the Discharge Plan with the patients family.
He is a joke for a psychiatrist and should be kept as far away from people as possible. He almost killed me once due to the drugs he made me take and wouldn’t listen when I said I was having a very bad reaction to one of them. When I could see another doctor he told me that I was right and should have never been put on any of the drugs he had me taking. He took me off all of them and after a few weeks once enough time passed for them to get out of my system I was so much better.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
