List of Gregg Shander's Reviews
Dr. Shander is great. The departments scheduling services are terrible, they reschedule without informing you. When called back in to confirm on day of, after a recent procedure and was told by doctor he wanted to see me the following week, scheduling pushed it out a month and a half....and I wouldnt have known if I didnt call.
I dont think I have ever seen anyone with his compassion! He is my sons doctor and he has been extremely concerned and loving and thorough. Love him!
Shander inserted replacement ICD. Stated lead placements were fine. Stated it is Institute policy to not issue new monitors until approx. 30 days postop. The old monitor did not read my husbands new ICD. Went 30 days without monitoring. Really doubt accepted standards of care were followed. Subsequent evaluation by another EP physician revealed one lead not in correct position. Extremely LONG wait times followed by 5 10 minute interaction with physician. This physician thought it was fine for my husband to be on Plavix and Eliquis at the same time while his colleague, Dr. Warren wanted Plavix stopped. Drugs.Com interaction checker states it is major risk for both drugs to be taken at the same time. This is a volume and revenue focused practice where physicians seem under a lot of pressure to see as many patients as possible.
Confident but never arrogant or rushed; extremely thorough diagnostic process; took time to listen and answer my list of 24 pretreatment questions. Nurses are top notch as well as his nurse practitioner and the team that calibrates and monitors my bivent ICD.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
