Went to take my children here with a medical emergency referral and they refused to see them because they didnt work with either of the 2 insurances my children have. I offered to pay cash up front and they still refused. They are in the business of making money from insurance not helping children who need it.

Tried to call them for my meds appointment several times and didnt pick up

I am giving 5 stars for the brief encounter that I had with staff here as I dropped off a mental health consumer. I cannot express how grateful I am for their help and how impressed I was by several of the staff members who shared their genuine concern and care for the patient I dropped off. I was about to leave and not drop the patient off when they attempted to speak with my patient one on one. They made an instant connection as they began to ask questions and surprisingly got answers from the patient. They showed empathy. I cannot speak as to all of their services but I do know they have some excellent workers here with genuine care. Based on what I saw at the Shallowford Rd location I would choose this place over some other ones in Chattanooga.

Do not come here for therapy and expect to make any progress out of it. While my therapist was nice they did not embody the qualities that a therapist should. Instead of giving me neutral advice from an unbiased third party perspective my therapist chose to treat me as if I was a child of their own in a way saying no to this and no to that instead of taking a different approach to things. They were clearly very bothered by most of the things I had told them and I felt the disappointmentshame in their eyes. In turn the result was leaving therapy feeling embarrassed and resent from coming in the first place .

Case managers need more public interaction training and understand they are there to help others not use this job to only help themselves. Brad the supervisor needs reevaluate case managers responsibility and their response to critical situations. The upside is they will provide resources once a year.

i went through 6 years of therapy at this establishment and made absolutely no progress.they threw me in a psych ward against my will when i told them i was suicidal instead of helping me with my coping mechanisms.and they called CPS on my parent without my consent shortly after i left my appointment despite me begging them not to because of the situation i was in at the time.the psychiatrists here also put me on an extremely addictive antipsychotic and refused to take me off of it despite me voicing my worries about the unhealthy dependence i had on it along with two other mood stabilizers they refused to take me off of.
