He may be a fine Dr until you disagree with him. He raised his voiced (yelled in my face, but silly semantics) telling me what I say is not true. I left in tears. I have depression & PTSD charted. Is that the Dr you want?

I tried to establish primary care with Dr. Newby because I am new to the Chattanooga area. I took off work for my appointment at 10:15 AM and by 11:10 AM I still hadn’t seen him. I had to leave without being seen because I had to return to work. Additionally, the walls of the office are so thin I could hear Dr. Newby prescribing the patient next to me Zoloft for his anxiety. If you DO want to be seen by a provider in a timely manner and DO NOT want random strangers to hear the details of your medical history, please don’t visit Dr. Newby’s office.

Great Doctor and wonderful staff. They have created a great and comfortable environment for all patients. Definitely glad I choose Dr. Newby and staff for my medical needs!

Been seeing Dr Newby for around 6 years. Went to him after years of pain and being sent home with a anti itch cream when I had staph! So thankful he did comprehensive bloodwork and identified an autoimmune disease. Has referred me to a rheumatologist and cardiologist and is always advocating for a healthy lifestyle. Also, he sees our daughter and has persistently and carefully unraveled her many symptoms. She is now under the care of a liver specialist and Dr Newby is treating her for the other health issues that come along with liver disease. We will not go any place else!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Newby for a couple of years now and I have never had a doctor that actually listened to me and took what I said to heart. I couldn’t recommend him more.

I have never had a better primary care Doctor than Dr. Newby. He truly listens and does not make you feel rushed. When no one else could see me when I first came to Chattanooga, he was able to fit me in. My husband was so impressed by his care, he became a patient as well. He seems very knowledgeable in many areas of medicine. We have been seeing him for nearly 3 years and are very happy under his care. His staff is always very friendly to us and we rarely wait long beyond our appointment time.

Dr may be okay.. I wouldn't know the receptionist kept setting and cancelling appointments for a MONTH! And acts like it's my fault. Do not go for opioid treatment they are obviously have a poor understanding for this treatment. An entire month waiting on these jokes!
