Dr Manton and his office performed my first colonoscopy 5 years ago. I am due my five year appt and you can bet it will be with Dr. Manton

Worst office staff!! Dr. Manton is excellent however, the office staff is rude, disrespectful, lack compassion and understanding. Both staff members I spoke to made scheduling an appointment a very difficult task. Was shown no empathy, placed on an extended hold and not given a reason yet treated as if it were my fault and I was an inconvenience.

I have seen Dr Manton for several years now and I absolutely love him. He has always listened to me and ordered appropriate test to find out my problem. His nurse practioner is awesome as well.

I liked Dr. Manton and have confidence in his knowledge and skills. He is very deliberative and does not rush into anything. He provided me with the information and included me in the decision process respecting my personal feelings and desires. My only issue is scheduling appointments; it took me 3 months for initial appt after having symptoms for several months and follow up appts were not easy to schedule either.

I moved from Indiana to Chattanooga and left a doctor I loved. Dr. Hall is a hard act to follow, but Dr. Manton is someone I've come to trust. He's a little more reserved, which can come across as aloof, but I believe he cares about me and my health. My only complaint, and I don't know where the blame really lies, is that my procedures were scheduled for 11:00 a.m. and I didn't get taken back to the procedure room until 1:30. Then, I was put in the hallway by the procedure room and waited about another 15 minutes. That was really frustrating and I plan to talk to Dr. Manton about it when I see him.

Dr. Manton listened to me and is working to get to the bottom of my issues. At first, I thought he was sort of cold, but I think he's just really smart and his mind is processing information, so he seems aloof. I just had an endo and colonoscopy, and my major complaint is that my procedure was supposed to be at 11:00 and I wasn't taken back until 1:30. He's slow and thorough, which is a good thing, but maybe they shouldn't book him so heavily for procedures. I was really hungry!!
