Brought my dad to the ER with several issues. Dr. zeroed in on one symptom of his many issues. I had to ask for fluids and certain tests because he didn't order them. He did not treat my dad's main issues and we were back in the ER 3 days later where he was very ill and admitted immediately.
My father was sent to the ER for a psychiatric evaluation because of a dangerous incident that happened at his living facility. Jared Kaminsky was dismissive, confrontational, and aggressive. He refused to sign a psychiatric evaluation for my father or speak to any of the witnesses of the incident. My father suffers from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. His medications had changed recently and ...
My father was taken to the ER by ambulance because his hallucinations became aggressive and dangerous to the caregivers at his living facility. We needed a psychiatric evaluation and 24 hour care because my father was reacting violently to his meds being changed. Jared Ross Kaminsky got very aggravated that my father was there, did a battery of tests (none having to do with his mental state), spoke to me in a very unpleasant and unprofessional manner, and refused to write a referral for my dad. He made me feel like I was a bad person by asking for help with my dad. He told me that they don’t do psychiatric evaluations. He got worked up and heated when I politely asked if he would talk to the nurse that has been witnessing my dad’s behavior. He kept grabbing his mask and acting as if he wanted to pull it off and yell at me... I was honestly shocked by his behavior. Perhaps I caught him on a bad day or I triggered him in some way.. I am still in shock that he did not care enough about a patient to help. Maybe Jared thought he was looking out for my dad.. perhaps his intentions were good, but his willingness to not listen to the nurse, facility director, me, and the case manager at his own hospital makes me believe that Jared should step back and check himself to make sure he is in the right career field. Maybe he should be better trained to deal with Alzheimer’s/dementia patients. My dad has a long history with Memorial Hospital. We will never go there again.
I was with my aunt in the ER. This Dr was very professional, compassionate and assessed the situation promptly and accurately. We were very pleased with the treatment by him and all his staff.
Was treated at Memorial Hospital ER. The Dr was very professional and competent. He assessed the issue accurately. We were very pleased.
Awesome personality
Was a little surprised by negative reviews. Maybe he doesn’t have the ‘ buttoned down ‘ formsl appearance that some might expect ? Maybe , but this young man was very busy and quickly identified my problem, asked pertinent questions and conferred with the Cardiologist Staff to team up on my treatment plan. I found him to be friendly , proficient and efficient. No complaints here.
Went to ER on Thanksgiving Day with my son who has ongoing medical problems. Dr Kaminsky reviewed the lab results said everything looked OK and discharged my son stating "Follow up with your Doctor on Monday". I then took my son to another hospital where my son was admitted and received 6 blood transfusions. Dr. Kaminsky was unable to recognize a serious medical condition which gives me serious doubts about his competency
I am not sure why this young man entered the medical profession. He needs to read the Hippocratic Oath, especially, "I will remember that there is art to medicine as well as science, and that warmth, sympathy, and understanding may outweigh the surgeon's knife or the chemist's drug." He fails to exhibit any warmth, sympathy or understanding but does display disrespect, sarcasm and immaturity. I would imagine that Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga would not be pleased with his treatment of the patients of Memorial and their family members.
Jared R Kaminsky, DO was my E.R. physician. After his highly ineffective and insulting treatment, I will never refer anyone to him or to the medical facility that he represents. His sarcasm, disrespect, and immaturity brings shame to the medical profession. He should pull up his pants. I'd rather not see the boxer shorts.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
