Dr. Jean has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've ever dealt with, much less a surgeon. He answered all of my questions on multiple visits until I was satisfied with our game plan to repair both of my hernias, and surgery and recovery have gone pretty much exactly as expected. Highly recommended.

My experience having surgery by Dr Jean was fantastic. He explained everything about my condition and surgery very clearly. Everything went smoothly before, during, and after surgery. No complaints or complications. Would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs hernia surgery.

Doctor Jean and Scott King teamed to perform a pancreatic, Whipple procedure for me July 31, 2017. Without going into details, I had benign cysts in my pancreas that could potentially develop into cancer. Doctor Jean was the lead surgeon. He visited me in the hospital twice a day, every day during my recovery. He is a doctor's doctor. I have done so well since my surgery and cancer free. I'm very active and started playing golf. I challenge him to play golf, if he ever gets back to Memphis. I am very grateful to Doctor Jean and Doctor King for performing surgery on me, that saved my life.

I was awake on the operating table. Multiple doctors said things to me while this was happening. I responded to them, but I don't remember what was said. I now suffer in pain as a result of the surgery that this doctor performed.

It was great. Staff made sure i understood procedure well because as with any surgery i was very nervous. Recovery so far has been very easy. All in all if i had to rate him on a scale of 1-10 id give him an 11.

Dr. Jean has performed three operations on me in the past year and a half. Fortunately for me, I met him in the St. Francis ER in Bartlett, TN. At that time, he performed life saving emergency surgery on me. Because of his professionalism, expertise, knowledge, and general bedside manner, I elected to have him perform a second colon operation. I am now under his care for a hernia repair. Even though I had several choices of surgeons, I didn't hesitate in choosing him. Thank you Dr. Jean!
