List of Jeffrey K. Mullins's Reviews
Father has surgery with Dr. Mullins. There are complications. Medications not received. Not one person in the office will call back. I’m taking him to the ER for the third time. Worst doctor I’ve ever known. For all I know he’s killing my father.
Dr Mullins is the best in every way. He cares so deeply for his patients. He is kind, compassionate, listens and never makes you feel rushed or as if you are just one of many. He is highly trained, skilled, intelligent and will do everything in his power for his patients. I am forever grateful he took such wonder care of my husband.
Dr. Mullins is thoughtful, kind, and extremely thorough. An outstanding surgeon with an incredible bedside manner. I would recommend him highly.
Dr. Mullins is a Bad**s. Thank you so, so much!
I first met Dr Mullins after a very high PSA test (100). He adjusted my meds and things returned to normal. A couple of years later my Primary was alarmed and I saw Dr M again. He is sharp and doesn't waste time. He is thorough and gave me the time I needed. I also liked his staff.
Doctor Mullins is the kindest, most genuine, down-to-Earth, humble doctor I have ever met. He is also extremely smart, highly trained, and incredibly creative, which is just what you want in a surgeon. For reference, I have been a registered nurse for three years at another large hospital, and, having met many doctors, I do not say that lightly. From his Patagonia vest to his Bob Ross socks, Doctor Mullins stands out from his peers. When we went to see him for the first time, it was after having received nothing but nightmarish news from the urology team at Erlanger, over a very protracted time line. After being told about us at 9PM by a colleague, Dr. Mullins saw us in his office at 9AM the very next day. Within that time he had reviewed my husband’s case, thought through multiple scenarios, and formulated a plan that was vastly superior to any we had heard prior. He allowed my husband’s entire family, all five of us, back for the consultation. We didn’t have to wait long. When the doctor came in, he looked my husband in the eye, shook his hand, and sat down in front of him. He said that the first thing he wanted to do was save my husband’s life. And the second thing he wanted to do was save his quality of life. He didn’t promise he could do it; but he promised that he would try. He scheduled a PET scan for the very next week, and surgery for the week following. Everything happened so quickly, which is something you are extremely grateful for when dealing with a fast-growing cancer. Fast forward and we’re two weeks post-op. The surgery went just as expected, per the pathology report, my husband is now cancer free. The team at Memorial provide us with so much support, and Dr. Mullins has continued to be kind and responsive, just as he was in the beginning. In regard to some of the negative reviews: As a nurse I would like to inform anyone reading this that Dr.Mullins has little control over the office staff, as they are employed by Memorial. Reviews about the office staff are better placed on the Urology Office as a whole, not on Dr.Mullins as an individual. Also, we have never had a bad interaction with the staff (other than one receptionist who was a little gruff). Everyone else has been very nice. This is personal to me because of the incredible service that this doctor has given us. My husband is uninsured, and this man has donated his time and energy to us, out of the goodness of his heart. What I can tell you without a doubt in my heart is this: When you are at your most vulnerable and needing someone to save your life, Dr. Mullins is that guy. And the honest truth is, should that moment come, none of those office staff will be in the operating room. Doc Mullins will make you feel listened to. He will make you feel safe. He will make you feel cared for. That is incredibly rare in this day and age. On my license and my reputation, both of which I take very seriously: I could not recommend a doctor more highly.

Great surgeon. Kind doctor. Dr. Mullins did an amazing job on my surgery after my cancer treatments. ❤️ I've been a urology patient at both Erlanger and Memorial for a couple years now and I'm sooo Very thankful to have him as my urologist for my next operation. I will never go anywhere else!! Mullins is absolutely the Best in Chattanooga!!
Dr. Mullins, is the best urologist in Chattanooga. Jennifer and Corree are outstanding at what they do.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
