We have been patients of Dr Selzer for many years. We like him because he is very laid back, non-judgemental, but very thorough. He takes his time and asks lots of questions. He can often see existing patients the same day if you call early enough. And if he cannot see you same day, NP Mystie Swingle usually can. A great practice.

He saved my life. I resented my annual physical. Why do I have to come every year just to renew a mild diuretic? But it was during one of these visits Dr. Seltzer found a small lump on my neck. He asked me to have his nurse schedule me an appointment with an endocrinologist. But I felt great! So I left without the appointment. Later in the day the nurse call me. Dr. Selzer has been my PCP for 9 years. He takes the time to sit down and talk and really listen to what you have to say. He is very concerned about you and your entire family dynamics. He is not the starchy, way too busy doctor you find at most places. I love him dearly.

I called on behalf of one of Dr. Selzer's clients who needed medical records in order to apply for an insurance policy. We had faxed them the request three times over a 30 day period, and never had a response (either by fax, mail, or phone) I called and politely explained the situation, the lady who answered the phone refused to give me her name, only her initials "T.H.", when I asked for her first name, she told me to stop "interrogating her" and she "Refuses to continue this conversation". Is this doctor too busy to help his patients? Does he not care about the attitude of the individuals working for him?

I have been a patient of Dr. Selzer's for almost 20 years. He is a great doctor. He has a wonderful bedside manner. I would (and have) recommended him to friends and family !! He restored my faith in doctor's.
