List of John Blake's Reviews
I've only seen Dr. Blake twice. First visit, he was pleasant, professional, listened to my issues, and replaced the prescription I needed from a former doctor while suggesting upcoming treatments. Yesterday he did a lumbar epidural on me that hurt so little and was over so fast I couldn't quite believe it. When he spoke to me before the procedure, which I was nervous about, he was smiling, upbeat and reassuring. I like him, feel comfortable trusting him to treat me, and am surprised at the very negative reviews here. The staff were all pleasant and most were friendly. My only complaint was that some staff had masks that didn't fit properly and were either falling off their noses or in some cases were down around their chins, which meant they weren't protecting anyone. I'm a high risk for COVID and feel everyone in a medical environment should be rigorously careful. That said, I will still continue to get treatment here.
In my lifetime I have NEVER encountered a doctor that was as arrogant & uncaring as this doctor. I was referred there by a family member. I have two adult sons & neither of them would ever talk to any older woman as he talked to me. I would NEVER recommend Dr Blake to anyone!
This Dr's office was once a great place for Pain Management with an amazing staff and Dr's that listened. Dr Todd is an amazing Dr but unfortunately he does not have the power to do what needs to be done and this is left Dr Blake. Dr Blake was once a compassionate and listened to his patients, however ever since his new office I have seen a drastic change in atmosphere and attitude from staff and Dr's alike. I having been a patient of specialist in pain management going on five years and today unfortunately I will no longer be a patient there. the lack of respect in the downright hostility of the staff, the fact that none of the doctors will listen to me or help me regardless, upon a agreement on issues,a continued increase in pain and decline and lack of quality of life I was turned away for being one minute past the deadline of my appointed time due to being stuck in traffic and being held up by circumstances beyond my control in relation to an accident on the roadway. This was even
If it were your family members you would do anything to help. We are treated like criminals and I understand some of it. But those of us that follow the rules suffer for the sins of others . Please treat us like human beings just trying to make it one day at a time and go to our jobs and be moms and grandparents. The very thing I need they won’t give me because I made a silly mistake. One strike and I’m suffering the rest of my life. No second chances. I’m glad the whole world doesn’t run this way. It might before long. Please just remember there are GOOD people that come to you and we depend on you and we thank you 🙏
I have always been happy with the care I receive at this practice. I see Todd most of the time and he is very kind and knowledgeable. I have never received any care or surgical procedure that did not turn out well.
NOT Specialist In Pain Management! 98% of people in the office never smile or act like they care at all. I've had 5 cervical surgeries, 1 lumbar surgery, and a hip replacement nine weeks before my visit. I was in so much pain from all these surgeries that I couldn't hold back the tears. I was prescribed a muscle relaxer and an anti-inflammatory medicine, neither of which heled my pain at all. I went back in two weeks and all he could talk about was a spinal injection. That made things worse. Out
Never meet the man which I find kind of strange. The #1 thing 2 going 2 a PM Dr. is TRUST. Something I have NONE of 4 these folks. I would love 2 have a Medtronics device placed in my back but I prefer to hurt rather than allow them 2 do it. Already approved by ins. but I will wait until I find some1 I I TRUST. Its easier 2 agree with them than B honest about your pain. Seems like they look for reasons to tell you to hit the door rather than show compassion.
No concern for the patients they worry more for themselves then they do the patients they lied, they rude they treat the patients like they are pill junkies or drug dealers this is not a good pain management facility I will not recommend anyone the entire staff is awful.
Had a great experience with my back surgery
Not patient orientated; orders ridiculous procedures without concern for cost; does not listen and is not patient focused. Office has uncomfortable chairs and is antiquated. Staff is good and considerate. Had to buy a stupid Opiod savior Narcan for $135.00 and a lock box for my meds. Do I have to carry the Narcan or lock it up?

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
