I received a Covid diagnosis mid Friday afternoon at a local pharmacy as I wasn't feeling well and needed medical supplies. I immediately called Dr. Kim's office for notification and also to hopefully get some guidance on what I needed to do or what medications I may need to take or be prescribed. When I called at 3:30pm I had to leave a message with the answering service as the office was already closed. I understand needing time away so I don't fault the office at all for being closed, so I did leave a message with the answering service to please have someone (Dr. Kim, a nurse, an on-call practitioner, anyone) to please call me back with instructions. No one responded. I was terribly ill all weekend, but was fortunate enough to find a nurse practitioner from a different office that was willing to help me. On Monday, I called Dr. Kim's office again to get an explanation on why no one called and I had to leave another message. This time it was for his medical assistant. I am now on day 5 of Covid and have not been able to reach my doctor, his medical assistant, or get any feedback from anyone in his office. To me this is egregious, unprofessional, completely unacceptable, and below any medical practice standards that CHI Memorial prides themselves on. I had high hopes for a strong partnership with Dr. Kim that would last decades but unfortunately I'm now in a position to seek out another provider. Overall I just can't say anything positive about this practice right now.

Easy to talk to and very thorough. He makes a point to ensure you that your mental and physical health are a priority. He is extremely knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone seeking a doctor!
