List of Mark E. Heinsohn's Reviews
Dr. Heinsohn has been my physician for many years. He’s very caring and knowledgeable. He takes as much time as necessary.
Dr Heinsohn is by far the most thorough and genuinely concerned physician in Chattanooga. I do not like to wait long to see a doctor and Dr Heinsohn is the only doctor I will wait very long to see. Don't expect to be in and out in half an hour but he is certainly worth the wait!
Dr Heinsohn is the best doctor I have ever seen. My husband and I love him and his staff. It means so much to know that you have someone to go to when you need help.
Dr. Heinsohn has been my doctor for 20 years. He is extremely smart, knowledgeable, and very thorough. He does not stop until he can figure out a medical plan to help diagnose or treat any symptom I may have. He cares about his patients and spends plenty of time with them, which can make the wait extremely long, but well worth it! Just make sure you bring a good book to read when you come.
I have been going to Dr. Heinsohn for 23 years. He is highly knowledgeable and friendly.
Dr Heinsohn is an amazing Dr, He is very knowledgeable about any problem a patient may have, I can call him for anything and he never makes me feel that I am a bother. His wait time is lengthy but, good things are worth the wait. I would rather know that my physician is taking care of me and , not just treating me like a #. He never puts his time above the pt's and you can get a call from him up to 7 pm or so, That tells me he is putting his patients first !
Dr Heinsohn took me on as a patient when I was taking my Mom to his office on a regular basis. I was in good health at the time. After some surgery (other physician) I developed 2 PE's (blood clots). I almost died while in hospital, ICU for 8 days. My aftercare with Dr Heinsohn was absolutely off the charts! His personal attention to my recovery was unbelievable! My husband was astounded that "there are STILL doctors like this around"!! I'm thankful for MY Dr Heinsohn and the care and attention I receive from him at EVERY SINGLE VISIT! Yes, you will wait more than 10-15 minutes to see him but he's worth the wait! When he comes into your room, YOU get his full attention for as long as you need him! No other doctor I've ever seen does this! I pray we BOTH remain healthy and together for years to come! He's like a member of our family. I couldn't bear losing him! To quote my Mom, "he's a JEWEL"!!!!
I have been going to Dr. Heinsohn since 1992. Best doctor I have ever gone to.
Family doctor for many years. Very kind & knows how to find the cure or help to any health issue. Very wise. The wait can be a little long.
Went to Dr. Heinshon for a long time and thought he was really, but then I had a couple of issues that (1) he couldn’t diagnose, and the 2nd he clearly didn’t seem interested in. On both occasions I was really having a problem and was terribly disappointed. It doesn’t seem to matter how sick you are you will sit there for “hours” before you are seen. There is no “sick patient”/ “well patient” separate seating. You are shoulder to shoulder with....who knows what. I have been sick and told to come in at 4’o’clock and get home at 8 o’clock. The lack of respect for my time and my feeling are not acceptable. It is rude and speaks directly to his patient care. He is in charge....and apparently loves having these lowly sick patients waiting for hours to be blessed. What an ego. What a business. Think about it! I do not know what took me so long to recognize this gross lack of respect, but suddenly it hit me. I cannot express how much better my life is not having to be his patient.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
