They are understaffed and over book procedures. That is a practice that only benefits share holders don't trust them with your loved ones
Why? Why when I need a surgery that could change my life for the better, that could allow me to live with much less pain, that could preserve my ability to have children, why are you denying me my rights, Parkridge? You say I must consent to “medication not yet FDA approved” in order to have the surgery at your facility. You even deny my ability to have the pre-surgery bloodwork without signing the surgery agreement first. No surgery without bloodwork first, and no bloodwork without signing this paper in its entirety. I told you I would be willing to sign the rest of the document if you allow me to cross out that one paragraph. No, I am told; your admissions clerks tell me I can “write whatever I want all over it, but as soon as the pen touches the document it’s no longer a legal document or admissible in court.” I am told it is sign all or sign none. No paper, no bloodwork, no surgery. When fellow women on the other side of the aisle scream “my body, my choice,” they are applauded, advocated for, and eagerly defended in court. While I disagree with a fetus’ body being part of the mother’s that she has complete autonomy over, I can’t help but notice the dichotomy here. I am not pregnant; it is my body and mine alone involved in this procedure. So where is my right to “my body, my choice?” Do I not have a right to choose what does or does not go into my body? Do I not know it better than the doctors themselves? I know my extreme reactions to medications both artificial and naturally-occurring. I know what I am comfortable with and what I do not want to risk. I am not comfortable signing something saying that I can be given a non-FDA approved medicine. You can say it’s only for compounding sake, to combine two FDA approved drugs if a third drug is out of stock. You say my doctor would be the one to order it. But your agreement is so broad stroke, how can I know that is accurate? I trust my doctor, but I do not trust Parkridge. You say that it would only be ordered by my physician, but I do not want to give up complete autonomy of my rights in signing something this broad-stroke. I do not want to be part of a clinical trial. I do not want to be a human guinea pig. The physician performing my surgery, a lifelong friend of my family and trusted healthcare provider of mine, has even said she never heard of that being in the surgery agreement paperwork before. Am I the first one to read your agreement, Parkridge? How many others have you done this to? Why are you denying my access to healthcare that could change my life for the better by forcing me to choose between my surgery and my right to autonomy regarding my health in general?
I was here because I had taken a recall medication "potassium chloride 10MEQ". I was experiencing alot of the side effects. While trying to ask and tell Dr. Vance that the two should not be taken together. He never read the bottles he just stated, "yes they can"! While asking him to read my phone on the research of the meds he stated " I have a medical degree and I do not need to read your research". I stated Dr. Vance just because you have a Medical Degree does not mean you did not miss something. Dr. Vance then stated "you can leave or stay". I was surprised when I heard him speak in such a manner because at this point with tears rolling down my face from the pain I was in and a doctor standing in front of me more concerned about his Medical Degree and not listening to what his patient was trying to explain. I got up and left. Why should I trust a Doctor more concerned about his "Medical Degree" than his patience concerns. Tammy H. Kainessie 7/8/2024
Hospital stafff was great Your hose doctor Aliyi may get y’all a lawsuit
Use to be a great hospital. Not the case now days. So many Dr's are such a joke now days. It's like they just hire anyone. Went there after throwing up for days for them to say "you got a virus" here's some IV fluids and nausea medicine, see ya. Well, here I am the next day still throwing up (while taking their nausea medicine) and feeling terrible. Thanks for nothing and wasting my time and money. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!
if I could give them a zero I would. my father was just there a couple days ago in sever pain and they couldn’t help him they sent him home the same day with the same pain. the nurses and front desk were very rude and unprofessional. I don’t recommend this hospital to anyone.
I was just there Wednesday with sever back pain and the doctor and nurses were very unprofessional and could not handle my situation professionally. They were very rude and did not want to help resolve my situation. They sent me home with just a shot and the same pain they couldn’t help me and refused to let me stay when I am and was in so much pain. I asked the nurse after given the shot if I can take my pain medicine when I get home so I know not to overdose and she replied with “it’s up to you you can take it or not” all she was worried about was sending me home no matter my situation. They don’t care about your well being and I don’t feel safe there.
Very good medical service!!
My mother in law is in here for chest pains and they came in for x ray and told us we had to wait outside the door kinda hateful. Whenever someone is having X-rays we know to step out but she didn't have to say it hateful and snobby. The rooms are horrible
If I could give this a zero I would. 3 months ago,I had a dear loved one in Icu . Very ill. It was a difficult stressful time for me and my family. We were not allowed to spend the night in waiting room but the nurse told us we could call any time to check on love one. When your at home , nerves are already shocked and you can barely eat , rest or sleep because your concern about your love one. When we called to check in to see if there's an update or any changes , the nurse tells us we're calling to much or family members keep calling back to back. How would they feel if the shoe is on the other foot and they were told that? I understand that they have more patients to look after but it probably would have been better if they were to politely tell us to inform other family members to limit phones calls so nurse can look after patients. It seem they would have been more understanding considering when visiting hours are over ,every one has to leave and just hope and pray that they are being treated and cared for by the best of their ability. Make sure if your love one is being admitted there, you have some one you know that'd in the medical field that you trust to help you with making decisions before you give the doctors ok to do anything.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
